  1. I was gonna play till this video came out now I just feel like genshin character design has more depth to it idk why I just am not able to appreciate the details of ww characters

    edit:
on second look I noticed that the body orientation of some characters are not right like look at nahida clones legs with respect to her face

    Same for yae miko clone

also note I totally dont have any problem with taking inspiration from genshin model

  2. I think I can finally tell why I don’t like wuwa’s character design that much. It’s not because it’s not vibrant enough but more so that the color palette is bland. It’s 90% just black and white with ONE accent color. The only characters I like are the little blond girl, the tiger boy and the doll mommy. And I think it’s because they have more than just one accent color making their design more interesting. Only exception is the evil scar guy. But he’s so hot even a bland color palette won’t get me off him 😼

Edit: since some people don’t understand more than 1 color=/= vibrancy. Vibrant means bright and eye catching colors. The doll mommy has muted red and purple accents. Same thing with tiger boy, he’s mostly white with slight yellow and red. Neither of them are vibrant.

  3. Its kinda funny how people are saying they prefer the genshin designs to the wuwa ones when the genshin ones look so low quality, especially their faces. Only exception being neuvillette.

  4. I like Genshin design more overall, but my problem is the adult characters are horrible. The supposed adults look like teens, and all the males look like twinks. In Wuwa they actually look like adults and badass

  5. I don't play both game but from the video, i really think Genshin is more detailed and smoother, but maybe it's bc the graphic in Wuthering waves is set to low in the video, i don't know.

  6. Hands down Genshin have better character design and their animation in the movement is far better… just notice how the Genshin females hips sway naturally when they walk slowly, the WuWa kind of stiff in that department HOWEVER totally off topic, WuWa has a better combat system….

  7. I have to say, as an avid genshin player myself I actually find videos like this quite irritating. Last time I checked genshin does not hold exclusive right to green nature girls and bandage bras. Stuff like this is just fuelling toxicity such as accusing Kuro of copying hoyo. They are different games, quite different actually and deserve to stand on their own merits. I will be starting WW tonight and I am very excited as something I have always wanted from genshin is more focus on combat but hoyo refuse to do so. I actually also find myself preferring the WW character designs too, more mature and less Mickey Mouse colour blasting.

  8. WuWa is significantly better, the genshin ones look childish and silly with the bright colors and huge ahh bobble heads. I definitely prefer the more detailed and mature designs WuWa has. ❤

  9. Dont go comparing wuwa and genshin. kuro have been cooking for years we dont need opinions to see who is better, genshin is good but the one who cooked hard makes the best food. Kuro listens to their community, genshin does not. Fairly to say kuro wins this

  10. If you're going to compare the games, compare genshin when it first released with wuwa, because everyone is comparing a game that's been out for a few years already with one that literally just got released, it's only fair, and when wuwa has been released for the same amount of years as genshin then compare it to the current game

  11. Wuthering Waves designs seem to be more mature and consistent with the world they inhabit, while Genshin's are more eye-catchy, fantastical and flamboyant. Guess that's a matter of preference which is better.
