Wuthering Waves is a BETTER GAME than Genshin Impact (**ALL THE REASONS WHY**)

In this video, I break down why Wuthering Waves is a better game than Genshin Impact! After playing both games extensively and spending a good amount of money in both, I’ve gathered several points where Genshin falls short in comparison. From combat dynamics and banner generosity to world exploration and endgame content, Wuthering Waves stands out in almost every way. I’ll dive into topics like free 5-star characters, the superior banner system, the Echo vs. Artifact systems, and the overall generosity of Kuro Games.

If you’re a fan of gacha games or just looking for reasons to try Wuthering Waves, this video will give you the insight you need. I also talk about some of the shortcomings of Genshin Impact, from the stamina system to the slow progression of endgame content.

  3. I wish I can bring furina to wuwa 😭
Btw genshin lost the battle the day Nathan teaser dropped I instantly uninstalled… They missed a huge potential to make the game dark and more manly like God of war and assassin creed style but they choose a girly cute theme for the nation of WAR 😂 fucking hideous

  4. wuwa its really a great game, but its fun how no one takes wuwa's name alone seriously, every single big event about this game need genshin name involved. Wish people could separate them both to let wuwa's grow, and not being knowed as a shadow of other games…

  5. i see a lot of people hate echoes compared to artifacts/relics. 90+% of the artifacts/relics you get, will be fodder. so you can spend days to months just trying to get a artifact/relic with the right main stat you want. then when you do get that piece, the stats are hp, hp%, def, def% most of the time. then if you get hp, attk%, cr, cd, it all rolls into hp. meanwhile in wuwa all echoes you get have the potential to be good, as long as you get the right set and main stat you are looking for. you can also farm for specific pieces. say you need a electro 3 cost on electro set. you can just farm the 3 costs echoes of that set(typically one 3 cost has 2 possible sets to drop, some exceptions ofc), instead of farming a domain where you get Flower, Plume, Sands of Eon, Goblet, and Circlet from a possible 2 sets in that domain. thats 10 possible pieces you can get from one domain, not mentioning all the possible main stats and sub stats there are from both.

also, people have said the amount of echo lvl resources were bad. they didnt take into consideration how much and how often they were rolling echoes(they even decided to keep giving more too, through events. which is great). compared to genshin where the reason people have so much artifact exp is because they dont have many good pieces to spend them on, and all that fodder builds up then gets turned to exp. though, if i could change 1 thing about echoes it would be to get rid of tuners. needing 2 items(exp and tuners) to lvl and see the possible sub stat can be a bit annoying. i would prefer just needing exp imo

  6. WuWa is a 'better game' in its more niche environment. (High skill combat, beautiful yet deserted world, very good gameplay loop and progression)

Genshin is the more popular game, due to the higher general audience appeal, which can also be argued for a 'better game' (Easy/casual combat, Standard environments and story, more lightful world, game is often described as a cozy game)

But just in general, talking about better games doesn't really make sense either way. Genshin is basically the Mario of Plattformers, and WuWa is Celeste.

  7. I was a 1.0 WuWa player, who previously dropped the game, only recently returning in the latter half of 1.2. I'm astounded by the amount of love and improvement Kuro has committed to. Literally all of my day 1 complaints have been either solved or greatly improved. Kuro deserves far more attention and love than they currently get, especially due to how toxic some hardcore Genshin players can be.

  8. People here are not acceptig the game is declining, I played for 2 months and I realized there's a lot of flaws in the game its physiology that tricks your mind as a newbie.

    1. Infinite stamina until you meet an enemy
2.the echo system is a scam
    3. Only 1 character per update
4.there are literally nothing to do after you have done everything
5.you have been playing the same character for 500 hour that makes the combat boring and using verina all teams

There are still many more flaws I can't list them all but there's a reason why it can't keep its players most of you guys are newbies wait for a few weeks and tell me I'm not wrong.

  9. All i can say…gacha community is not same as other community where new thing emerged that is better than current one n people will have a discussion on agreements(which is mostly they all agree)

But dont jump into conclusion from my word….all these agreement doesnt mean u have to force to play/used the new upgraded…some people still gonna enjoy the current one…in other word…just ignored it n stay what u loving to play/used on

So yeah all those will never happen in gacha community

Also love the way u explain the point…clear n chilling 👍

  10. I love how after failing at beating any hoyoverse games, WuWa players somehow seems wholesome waiting for their game to become top 10 or something saying devs deserve it all the time and always repeating that it's the only game worth spending.

  11. I'm a long time Gacha Game enjoyer, really started with FGO nearly… seven to eight years ago? (Good god.) But Genshin slowly killed that for me, tried to get into WuWa but just couldn't. What always attracts me isn't the 'quality' of games but rather the 'character' of games. I definitely think the mechanics of WuWa are better and the devs are more communicative by a long shot, but Genshin feels more vibrant, more alive, the characters feel like they have more personality and overall the designs feel like they suit me better. Definitely agree that WuWa is a lot more generous tho.

  12. For me… it's the motherfucking skip button. How hard is it for Genshin to add it? I couldn't care less about the story…
Kuro respects the players' time, They even give you a short summary if you're skipping.
AND THEY HAVE 120 FRAMES! (Combat is versatile too)

  13. Indeed… as of 1.3 wuthering waves beats Genshin Impact in every single aspect/category.
whether it's character design, lore/story, combat system, exploration, world design/environment, quality, devs and their generosity/rewards, QOL, music, voice actors, animations, etc….
NOT a single pyro character in Genshin has better animations than Changli… Changli stands on top and the same can by said about any other element… and hohooo do I have to mention CAMELLYA? just go and take a look about her kit, her unfinished animations are single-handedly better than all of genshin characters' animations combined. This isn't even a debate, who says otherwise is mostly below 16 years old or just a person who never tried wuthering waves and just watched in on 144P or with gamebanana lowering quality modifications for low-end pcs.

PSST. that's just the 6th month for wuthering waves vs a 4 years old money grabbing genshin impact…
AND FOR THOSE who mention the revenue, it's so sad for you. But, if u go and check wuthering waves' revenue, it is actually doing PERFECT. It's doing very well and it will do EVEN better with 1.4 and further updates.

  14. I'm Genshin Impact player who been play this game for 4 years and retired right after WuWa released, I agreed with you.
WuWa is "Genshin" but more refined that player wanted. Like:
    – Map on GI is getting bigger but stamina still the same
    – Story that I'm not interested cannot be skip (even worse that story can unlocked weekly boss or areas)
    – Resin capacity increased is useless if recharge rate is still the same
    – Combat on Genshin is clunky and slow (I know some people don't like fast-paced gameplay but no sir I want to finish my daily task ASAP, sir)

  15. I started playing Genshin when it first came out on ps4 and absolutely loved it the characters, story, world was fun and I couldn’t believe that this was a free to play game. Now I do know about the problems with the game and how the devs can be but I just learned to accept it and was really surprised by the 5.0 livestream. Now I have tried Wuwa and I can say it’s a great game it definitely has things better than Genshin like a skip button on world quest. The only problems I had with the game was some of the English voices and that my computer isn’t the best to play it on because it does kinda of lag for me so I have been on and off for Wuwa and haven’t got any limited characters yet. It’s probably because since Genshin, HSR, and ZZZ are on ps5 that I haven’t been focusing on it much and probably due to the fact that I don’t want to explore a whole other big map like I did with Genshin again. I’m not saying that Wuwa is bad but I just hope that Genshin gets even better as it’s adding good things now

  16. I love both games but this is honestly toxic positivity at this point.

Tbf idgaf which game is better and i think both are pretty even, but the fact the wuwa gets only praise and genshin gets only criticism is crazy to me. Wuwa is not a perfect game so why is it only getting praise? Genshin is not completely doghshit so why is that all it’s getting?

I think there’s a lot in wuwa better than genshin for sure (combat animation, gacha system, movement, etc). But there are also things that genshin does better than wuwa (story and lore, world building, exploration/combat opportunity regarding its elements).

Wuwa only getting praise and practically no criticism is not helpful for the game. 1.3 is great, but not perfect. there were many problems with it like how the story focused only on shorekeeper and not encore, aalto, camellya, youhu or anyone else and how the pacing was far too quick to get me invested in the story. The map was too small and empty to justify 1.2 being a filler patch and they’re already rerunning characters. Criticise that.

If we continue to give wuwa praise only then the game will get used to churning out whatever and expecting comments like “kuro keeps cooking” and “genshin could never”. I’m not saying kuro isn’t “cooking” (they are), but not to the exaggerated extent that most make it out to be.

Final thing, comparing wuwa to genshin is a death sentence and benefits neither games. Wuwa has lost a considerable amount of players since launch, no doubt affected by this whole wuwa vs genshin war. Genshin sees that wuwa is losing players and guess what? They can go back to completely not trying as their competitor is slowly crumbling by its own community. TLDR: wuwa loses its players and genshin becomes even more complacent.

It’s ok to give ur opinion on which game is better, but know that its not helpful to either games and u really should just play whichever game u prefer or just play both.
