was going to pull for hu tao, but this changed my mind. So I'm just gonna pull for thoma instead. My team is a quickswap team and its sometimes frustrating to grind materials for all of them. So I was looking for a dps that can have Kazuha in the team. Kazuha is a character I cant get off my team because Im so used to him. any advice or recom characters?
I'm ar 35 and have enough to go for soft pity but I'm not sure if I will win 50/50 and get hu tao….but idk if I should even pull for her cus I don't have any decent artifacts and the only decent poleram I have is dragonsbane….so I would rlly appreciate any advice on whether or not I should go for hu tao…thanks(btw I don't have any hydro applicators except Barbara lmao but I do have cryo and electro applicators(diona/chongyun and keqing respectively)
I'm new to genshin and I really need hu tao right now because the only dps I currently have is xiangling and I lack single target damage, I came from dota2 and theres a lot of attack animation cancel and skill cancelling there so I think I can handle jump cancel
The most overrated thing is always spiral abyss. Spending 20k primogems to get an extra 50 every two weeks would already NEVER pay off. But if you just grinded artifacts for your already built characters, in most cases even that extra 50 goes down to zero.
Is a character going to be fun to run around fightning hillichurls with? Do you want the character to be in your main exploration party when Sumeru is released? If the answer is no, it's very questionable to get any character just for domain runs and bosses
What I'm really curious to know about Hu Tao: Is her self-damaging E okay in exploration without Zhongli? I like her design and learning how to animation cancel would be a lot of fun. But dying to a single hit as soon a 6-8 second duration shield runs out, doesn't sound so fun. Yet nobody on Youtube talks about exploration, they all act like spiral abyss is the entire game.

i will agree one that c1 is not worth one more change hit vs c0 but she is not bad but it take a lot more skill to play her also just get nolloel then for shields she gives you a shield when your at 30% less hp and she is F2P

i have c0 hu tao, and i think what erowalruss said is true. playstyle depends on an individual skills and device, which not everyone is the same.
c1 one is only good if you use that new articact set thats baced one charged attacts well if your going nuke build then you only need c0 cuse your only trying to do Q's

I main Hutao since her 1st banner. I played on mobile back then, yes the jump cancel was took a lot a practice you gotta time it right, if cancel too early the charged attack will failed.
I say Hutao do really need one hydro – xingqiu with lot ER is the best. Xingqiu E can heal her as well., Or Barbara.
Yes she's a nuke, one of the best.
Her burst also give her HP back if burst hit the enemies.
The bad: she will be pain in the ass in domain co-op. 😂 I died a lot using her in co-op domain. Most of the time All your random party don't care to heal your Hutao. (You could always play Solo tho).
If you on mobile and will get Hutao, be ready to swipe your screen a lot when doing charged attack.
most of the Hu Tao Showcases have Zhongli in it.. so in Real Game, what if you don't have Zhongli? is Diona, Thoma or any shield giving characters will do? YES they will but when facing with a strong enemy those shields will just pop off in just one or two hits and your Hu Tao will just be dead. – so in the real Issue is How Far Can Someone will Invest into Hu Tao? You will Invest in Hu Tao in Xingqiu, a Shield Char and the Other One. right? coz having a Poor Shield together with Hu Tao is not worth it coz you wont be Maximizing that E and you will get constantly hit and running enemies. (prepare for some raging moments coz Hu Tao wanters today will just experience multiple Deaths a long the way before you master it) – but if you really Like the Character Just DO IT! – anyways this is just all a opinion and it could help someone decide, coz we all know how hard it is to earn a Primogem in this game and We do ALL KNOW by now that Multiple New Characters are coming up, they are all promising (Yae, Shenhe, Yunjin, Itto etc.) ehem.. Ganyu.. so better do some homework, coz regret is always there. 😛 (but if would be a great regret too if you don't pull for your Waifu right? so the choice is yours)

I’m pulling on her because of her quirky personality and high dps. I really liked her story quest and I look forward to the banner test run to try her out even more. Her gameplay seems like a rewarding challenge when you’re able to get the hang of it.
Honestly even if Hu Tao sucked I would summon anyways, she looks really fun and is one of my favorite characters overall, along with Zhongli and Xiao.
if you have c0 just pull a pyro from tf2 and wm1 AKA press left click don't hold and there won't be stamina issues

Shes the first banner I'm pulling on and I'm doing my homework which brought me here. I generally try not to spend money so I'll take what I can get. in short, if you love her design, her gameplay, and you kind of enjoying a little bit of challenging and hard to play character, she's for you..If not and you only like unga bunga gameplay without thinking much, in the near banners there are albedo, potentially itto, and of course, xiao or ganyu if you're looking for carry..
