  2. the only selling facter to genshins gameplay is the elemtal reactions, to be an alchemist, in live action combat, but they do it poorly cuz they keep limiting reactions thru proc cds, limited app, char kits just not working with the fast majority of others. genshin needs another game to potentially end it so they can focus on what they do over other games to make it worth while to play, cuz rn theres none.

  3. As far as ik, WW isn't coming to console so I'm out of luck but if it ever would, if definitely try it out and probably enjoy it. I'm not quitting Genshin regardless just bc I'm not burned out. Will also be playing Honkai in the future. Maybe it's just me but I enjoy being able to try different games when Genshin does have down time.

  4. Ill probably be playing WW and Genshin but I really do hope Hoyoverse sees WW as a competitor. The Dehya situation showed that Hoyoverse as a company has less respect for their playerbase than I thought. So maybe to keep player satisfaction high we won’t see any situation similar to it in the future.

  5. I’m more concerned if WW will be great like Skyrim and BOTW,most open world games tend to be good for a while then mid/dry as time goes by.WW seems fun to play ngl but if it’s open world the devs have to make it as entertaining as possible if it’s going against Genshin.PGR was okay but didn’t get that same appeal to me as Genshin

  6. Very good points were made in this video. I salute you! No cap 👏

I firmly agree that WW will have a specific more Hardcore audience than Genshin does. Genshin tries to appeal to both sides of the players – the casuals and the 'hardcore' players. Sadly it's more oriented to the casuals that everyone has equal possibilities in obtaining the same rewards. Genshin is for people who don't want to invest into their effort in improving their characters, skills etc. to beat hardcore content. Because Genshin has the idea that too hardcore content can cause anxiety and people will quit their game because it's too hard and only whales can clear the hardest difficulty.

In my opinion, the general public – the casuals are scared in faced adversity. These people Only want to win and win it easily. Which triggers me because there is no personal growth.

Therefore WW, as you said, fills the empty hole – much harder combat. Kuro games are known for their insanely polished, challenging combat. For which I'm very, very hyped. I really hope they can pull it off. I want the game to be almost as difficult as Elden Ring – punishing, strategic, epic etc.
I would love to see WW compete with Genshin but Genshin has its own 'magical feel' that will maintain people playing the game for a very, very long time. But WW could have a semi-decent LOYAL audience.

  7. My complaint about WuWa… is that the health bars are kinda meh. In PGR, it's meh-looking as well, until you notice you're tearing through the health bar like paper and that there's a "x99" next to it that dropped to x98 and you realize "Oooooooooh, tearing apart school textbook-time!!!" 😀

  8. I played the test for WW, and I can be sure, the story is really bad, like really really bad. Most of time I just laugh at the poor writing because they are hilarious.
The combat tho, very smooth, the action combat is very enjoyable. But the game clearly feels like it is trying soo hard to learn from Genshin. I would suggest WW just do what they do best: hard-core action combat.
The voice acting, yikes, I played the CN test, and the CN voices sounds like they don’t have enough money to hire a VA director.
Luckily, WW still has a long way before going public test, so there will be room and rime for improvement.

  9. Dejavu, everyone knows that for a while they heard and actually believe that when ToF came but content creators can't fool us again, there is no one that is delivering a high quality game to this day so good try to scam people on supporting a game that is putting good money in marketing but lie effort in trying to make a good game, the funny thing is that is Genshin and Honkai the ones that are improving without competitors pushing them to do that but they are doing because they care about their games Sumeru was supposed to show how HoYo stopped caring about improving the game like many content creators said….

  10. I hate when people complain about Genshin not being difficult enough when not all of us care.
I only play Genshin because its easy… i have no interest in difficult games like Elden Ring
I work all day and I just want to relax by destroying everything and feeling strong. A bit like a hack and slash game

  11. The only reason they can't fix end game is because lvl.90 is too O.P relative to the main content. If you fully level your characters, the main game is trivialised. But if you stop at 80 and 4* weapons (which makes the open world fun) then spiral abyss is way too hard.
As for "filling niches", these other games do the same thing every game since WoW has done. Genshin is the one that filled the gap, not the one that created it.
