  1. This theory could be interesting if Yae haven't explained already that Scaramouche is not Ei trying to resurrect Makoto, it was Ei trying to create the puppet she's using today. I believe that Scaramouche was a error because he have feelings and all, while the puppet is supposed to be just a empty shell that follows Ei's orders.

  2. I always love your videos , looking forward for new ones! This time I have a different idea. Ei is even not ashame for what she causes to the poor population of Inazuma. I my understanding She create an uncontrollable puppet because he had free will, and she trowed it away, careless, without a second thought. He wasn't so powerful before that the the Fatui picked him up. Probably now he is contaminated by the power that they gave him. Maybe he was innocent and harmful while he was wondering alone and abandoned on Inazuma… But yeah, your idea would be more fascinating actually

  3. 7:22 just wanted to point out that we really don't know what the number ranking means for the Harbingers, but since Childe's the youngest and the 11th, it might be something like when they joined instead of power level

  4. Counterpoint to Scaramouche being more complex than Raiden Shogun: It's because of his complexity that Ei pulled back and decided to seal the power within him. Ei felt that something so complex – so human-like – was just wrong, thus making Raiden Shogun a to-the-point puppet.

  5. Wait so is a fatui harbingers power ranked based on their given number or not? I thought it wasn't ranked that way, and I've heard a lot of other people say that isn't how it's ranked. Just wondering

  6. you are right that gods don't just disappear, however makoto is already present, she is the tree at the grand shrine.

as for childe being playable, he is an anime archetype. childe fill the early arc enemy turn ally that just want to fight trope. scaramouche doesn't fit the archetype, he could be a sleeping double agent, but it is unlikely since these type only turn at the end to create an endgame twist, and we are quite a long way from endgame considering we haven't seen half of the harbringers… he would have to be a well kept meme if mihoyo build him for that.

  7. why do people have affection with Childe he`s just a hypocrite, he says he want to protect his little brother but two seconds later he's destroying a whole nation full of innocent kids that live in a poor family. This is like politics levels of hypocrise

  8. If and/or when Scaramouche becomes playable I'll pair him with Raiden. The party would consist of Childe (fellow harbinger so he won't be 'lonely'), Raiden (the progenitor), Kazuha (they would probably get along well, or at least Scara would mutually let him be), then lastly Scaramouche, whatever his kit is he'd still fit with the team

  9. i honestly dont think this is true although it is a cool theory, this is because Makoto is a kind being and scaramouche is kind of the opposite, although you can argue the fact that it could be because she is unawakened, if Scaramouche comments on small things like short moments of beauty from Makoto inside him wouldnt Makoto also try to step in to stop him being cruel?

  10. I’d like to correct what you said regarding him being less threatening because he’s no.6. Not true, the number ranking is based on when you joined, not your power scaling. Scaramouche was 6th to join, just like Childe was the 11th to join.

  11. Scara was never ment to be a reincarnation of Makoto, heck he wasn't even ment to be a reincarnation of Ei.

Scara was not really a "Failed" product. He was an experiment and trial, He was the prototype.

And the same with all the products, if there is a prototype, then there is the better and final product.

In this case, The better and final product was the Raiden Shogun.

  12. Wait. Why is everyone saying Scara is a failure? From what I understood of Yae's dialogue, Scara was a prototype/test/proof of concept. So I didnt think he was a failure bcs he served his purpose and was never meant to be the shogun.

edit: watched the video, sounds like a compelling theory. personally, I still dont think Scara is a failure although it might make sense for him to be perceived that way by himself or others.
