Why Sacrificial Spear Will NEVER Exist (Genshin Impact)

Why the Sacrificial Polearm Will Never be Released. There is a valid reason behind why this weapon does not exist. I explain it in this video. I hope you enjoy it 😀

  1. Great video.
I like the final speculation there.
Certainly wouldn't be beyond mihoyo to shoehorn in a passive effect to match a new character they are dropping. That being said, if they were to have done that it seems like they would have with Thoma. One point to bring up is: it seems some of the craftable weapons hail from other regions, but were readapted in Liyue, like iron sting. Maybe we'll find a spear as a billet in another land?

  3. you see, that makes sense
until you realize the royal spear is a thing that exists
also its lore says "The nobles believed that those of high blood should use swords in battle.

To them, the sound of blades clashing was the chorus the lofty souls.

The spear and the bow, on the other hand, were the weapons of plebian gladiators and commoners."
so by that logic sacrificial bow shouldnt even exist

  4. This is a interesting justification, but for me, the true reason is because a lot of polearm characters are already absurdity powerful, and with the passive of sacrificial weapons, imagine a Xiangling summoning two Guobas, a Hu Tao with 2 butterflies skill in a row, a Xiao with 4 or 5 dashes, not to mention the energy recharge passive what can make things more scary

  5. I believe the reason behind it is because spears are a warriors' weapon, that's why it's not fitting for nobles. Warriors in armies like in Liyue and Inazuma has it as the standard issue, and in case of Ei she's the shadow warrior of Makoto so it's not surprising that she uses one. Mondstadt on the other hand, soldiers appear to have swords as weapon of choice, and none of the Knights of Favonius (as of now) wield one. I heard that there's a saying in-game that goes like "spears isn't a weapon for the brave/courage."

  6. It can end up being sacrificial halbard or something while spear can been cheap (stick and a tiny pointed tip) it doesn't necessarily have to be a spear just any kind of a pole arm and we are lacking a sacrificial weapon for the ragnvindr clan
