For a player who has never wished on the weapon banner ever, it's looking so good that they dropped the fate points, but what about all those players who spent so much on the weapon banner? However, I still won't wish on the weapon banner. Being F2P is tough. I will definitely pull for the Pyro Archon when she is released.
World level is increasing, does that mean our characters will be able to level up to 100?
Yes, Genshin certainly has made the greatest changes that even surprised me! I don't complain that much but I will say I was annoyed with a few things from the game but I didn't let it bother me. However, apparently Genshin isn't done with the dramatic changes… Genshin is going to Xbox now. Sooner or later even more changes might happen before Natlan or after Natlan is coming out. I honestly believe because we all put our part in sharing what we believe can make the game better that benefits their company and others as well, we are going to get more surprises whether small or large! I'm so happy that Genshin is listening to our suggestions! It makes me very happy that they do want to improve themselves further with what they can do! Honestly, Genshin for me changed my life and many others! I'm very happy this game is not only free, but just a wonderful game as it is!
Just be aware that Hoyoverse GI Team will still always stall the shit out of better QoL and Game systems updates at least until some Anniversary or time that is suiteble for them and not the players. And like 5.0 shown some of the QoL updates might not be that amazing for the players as it seen firsthand after the closer look. In the end its all about money with Develoment Team + GI leadership positions (which for GI also changed a bit last year) and not exactly the players (and even then main focus of reaction is always CN side). Even when they get so much money anyway.
It will take too much time and my mental force to explain why i think this way so i rather not waste time on the obvious.
For example Aniplex does this same scammy tactics with FGO too (same level of bad in terms of implementation-production of QoL main systems and monetization strategy).
Of cource there are also real life side to it, and we all seen Da Wei speech but honestly, even it may be cold to say, it isnt an excuse to be that greedy and force players to wait until something meaningfull for the game systems while (trying to) enjoying it.
Anyways, 5.0 seems good and step in right direction at least and its good time to play GI for sure.
Major thing that they didn't highlight enough in the livestream was that the sanctifying elixir you need to craft the artifacts can also be made by offering artifacts you already have while using the new gadget, i believe the visual they showed had 8 five star artifact pieces per elixir, and the different piece (Circlet, Goblet, Sands etc) require different amounts of elixir. In the example they showed on stream it took 4 elixir for the goblet.
They are even releasing this on xbox now lol

This new gadget which let you choose main stat and subs is kinda a scam bcz getting good arts is not a problem but leveling good artifacts up to lvl 20 is a one way ticket to the depth of hell

I've been playing genshin since 1.1 and I gotta say that the livestream really made me cry for a lot of reasons. I'm glad I am able to see this game grow and see how far genshin has come
