I’m addicted to lost ark.
Should I get elden ring. I’m tempted but never been good at there types of games
I think lately Genshin has been going through a bit of an identity crisis (well more than usual) and with the more recent surveys they have been aware of this. I actually think it's good that the patch right now isn't as hyped and I think it's good if they just chill for a hot minute because could help reset the hype that they and the community built up to an unachievable degree. This can be a good time for them to re-evaluate and kind of fix some of the things with the basic foundation of the game while a lot of people are preoccupied with other games or otherwise taking a break. It's good to have low or chill points when it comes to pacing because it'll help make the hype for when Sumeru comes out much better than if it was going like 100% – 110% – 120% and constantly building until the game can't keep up with the hype. I think the biggest obstacle HoYoverse will have to get through is how they'll bring back player retention at this point because I feel they really need to make some significant changes to some of the more foundational stuff like story and writing and their priorities when it comes to balancing characters, equipment, main story progression, and general content.
I'm treating Genshin right now like fishes in the Aquarium – u feed em and stare at em for certain a period of time and then do other things.
If true, this is the best news for Genshin players and the worst news for MiHoYo. Bear in mind, with gacha games the success of them are not largely determined by the satisfaction of the playerbase
I think genshin is a game that’s great for mobile/on the go gamers, I can quit for 2-3 months and feel like I didn’t miss anything too major. Yeah free exclusive weapon, primos, and a free 4 star at most. Event weapons aren’t exactly too OP that if you missed one your account is ruined, there are better 5* options and most likely 4* as well. I am a 1 game at a time type of guy, but due to my time schedule/work/etc I can’t be playing games like how I used to. Genshin gives me that 15-30 minutes of gaming daily, if I want to play a little longer I just roam the map and kill mobs down certain paths I like. Sometimes I’ll get lucky and get a good artifact which can make my day. Yeah I’d like to play console games or computer games but honestly I get so sucked into 1 game when I try and play it, I rather it be a slow burner like Genshin that I can play less per day and not feel like I’m wasting time by not playing. As far as content goes, I like researching how to make use of what I have. For example, I recently got r5 rainslasher, I planned to try it out on beidou, but I already have sealord, blackcliff, and prototype built and I also decided to buy the battle pass and I only have an r3 black sword, was debating which battle pass weapon would be worth it. I researched both topics on YouTube and all the content about comparing battle pass weapons and rainslasher damage on beidou was over a year old. I would like to watch content that brings old content back with a more modern perspective (some1 said the battle pass claymore was trash while praising the catalyst, ofc these are over a year old opinions). I also have so many unbuilt characters, just recently got yanfei on standard banner I didn’t even know what her kit does. I also want to eventually build fun abyss teams. Most recently I was surprised my keqing, Yae, Barbra, kazuha team was getting some pretty fast clears, I think if I had kokomi I could manage to get sub 90 second times with that extra bit of damage.
Dunno i just waste my resine, dailes and then i close the game and move to lost ark where i stay for hours lol
Horizon forbiden west came out, zero dawn was my favorite game and this is no different, and then I will play elder ring, genshin is going to stay on the back seat until sumeru.
honestly i am getting incrrisingly bored with genshin, the reason why i do dailes every day since the last 2-3 weeks that i really started feeling like this is because i really want ayato and kazuha, genshin is a really nice game but it doesn't offer much but it actually asks a lot from players , the permanent coop mode is really starting to feel more and more of a necessity at least for me personally
What are the only ways Mihoyo will actually improve genshin impact? Either people stop spending on the game, genshin dying and losing playerbase count and letting them know that we need change, or, having other big games exist that will give them competition which will force them to up their game. Mihoyo always ignored us. Now let's see if this is the nail to the coffin lol
If genshin impact does end up dying, Mihoyo has noone else to blame but themselves lmao. If anything I actually think they deserve it
Still nothing for f2p console players 🙁
why no one cares about Valk right now ~ /s
Been saving for ayaka, but I refuse to do the shitty event. Ive played almost everyday, since november, I probably wont play till 2.6. I'm really burnt out.
that game is PC only so how do you call that competition if it aint on mobile
As a mobile player Genshin is seriously the only game I have to enjoy its everything I like nice characters, open world and I can explore along with amazing graphics which is what truly keeps me hooked on this game cause I can if wanted find many other games to play just like Genshin. but the Graphics and story will probably end up being horrible or the fighting style is not up to my liking. I’m also an Xbox user and damn the amount of games we have which are open world and have nice characters and lore and you can explore it’s like none. Other than a new game added but I hate the fighting style of it. I’ll probably quit Genshin or just stop playing daily as soon as a new game similar to Genshin with great graphics comes out on both Mobile and Xbox.
i think its super odd.. last patch, I was playing genshin for hours every single day, loving the lantern rite and shenhe (that was last patch right??) story quest. this patch, i have only done raiden's (which i loved all the same), but haven't had the motivation to actually sit down and play the game for long periods of time, like before..
I know the reason why this is the case. I started playing xenoblade chronicles II again, and legends arceus for the first time, and have been enjoying those games so much. but never did i think that my excitement for those games would take away my excitement for genshin. never did i think that, on the patch of yae miko's release, i wouldn't care much at all (despite me being of the few who like her kit). and I ESPECIALLY didn't think basically the entire genshin playerbase would feel the same way, all at the same time. it makes me wonder if theres an underlying reason..
Banner length has to be lowered or more than 5 banners should run at a time tbh. This phase is same as other gatcha games, they have to increase the resources and lift some leveling restrictions
i joined genshin because of ayaka and i got her but had to use 15$ for the rest of the pity, i deleted the game because qiqi came home instead of hu tao and storage space downloaded back cuz i spent money on the game and ayato but then i accidentally got yae miko. i do care for the game sense now im playing a lot more
Sadly im into Elden Ring & Forbidden West right now. This past few days there's nothing to do into genshin that will hook you up on playing if they keep this drought players will eventually switch to lost ark
Why only few realized this game is cutting online contents but using MMO aspects like Dailies, Resin, and RNG-roll (gacha, artifact, etc)… This game values more on lore from the quests you had done while most MMORPG will ties you to PvP and unhealthy scenes. They did this to not make the game too competitive and players will brand it Pay to Win. If the game becomes online and enable PvP, it will become hell for casual players…
Its really because we are all playing elden ring atm.
Quit for Lost Ark
Best decision
Elden Ring and Lost Ark are no competitions, they are just temporary distractions. If you want to talk about competition, theres still no real competitor, that can take it on with Genshin at all in regard of quality. The first game people hoped for could be a competitor, was/is Tower of Fantasy – a fail n therefore was for my taste, because it just looks like a cheap genshin ripoff in a more technological world than Teyvat with even worser Gacha
The only real strong good franchise that would be really a danger for Genshin, would Cygames ever make an open world game with similar style and monetization like Genshin, would be Granblue Fantasy. Granblue Fantasy Relink has the potential in theory to become perhaps a competitor. Its at least a real strong franchise full of already countless much awesome characters. With Granblue Fantasy Versus theres also proof that Cygames can do successfully good console games n other genres too.
If theres ever a Granblue Gacha Open World RPG with the Graphics of GBF Relink release on PC, Phones n Console, what will be the case with Relink next year, as GB is already huge on phones like Genshin, before Genshin even existed, then has MHY a real competitor that is also financially strong enough to become a headache for MHY n forcing them finally to make things cheaper n more accessible, instead of hiding everything behind 7 layers of rng n high amounts of expensive wishings, just to get 1 single character of somewhen 100+ to perfect peak performance!!
How are you still playing this game? That's the real question 😜 I couldn't believe it when I seen your video. I used to watch you years ago for genshin.
Idc too cause im busy maining Aloy 😊
In her own new game
And its lot funner than Genshin is right now.
Yeah but Elden Ring and Souls games are not for everybody so I don´t see competition there. Lost Ark right now has stolen most of genshin streamers, I give you that but the games itself are not comparable to genshin. I´m playing Destiny 2 and Dying Light 2 atm mixing it with genshin.
This entire video can just be talking about ALL Games in general, NOT just Genshin.
FACT: People come & go regardless if there's Content or not.
Yeah I don't really care about genshin right now. I'm playing Lost ark and it's pretty much content overload to the max which is such the polar opposite to this game. But still clear my resin but I don't care about anything going on.
Honestly if this wasn't mobile the game would be dead in the water to me because I do play it half the time while I'm out and about
Fed up with getting really bad artefacts! Mini games are garbage, same over world enemies so rinse and repeat, getting nowhere with storyline, new 5 stars being pretty meh, the list goes on. I love the over world scenery and exploring, but the game is really a pick me up and play for half an hour then switch it off!! They really need to pull their socks up with content to keep us interested!
I haven’t played in 10 days I’m waiting for 2.6
I'm just playing dragalia lost more since I have stuff to do in that game
Started at Genshin at day 1, capped on resin for the past few days already and missed 1 day of daily coms because of Lost Ark. If I can beat the hardest content in the game (with ease & have ascended all my characters 70/80 for the free wishes) then there really isn't anything else much to do is there. BUT, I still love Genshin's combat system though.
My reason is not another game. It's more a lot of content creators started this trend of only posting negative content. They would rather talk down on people and how they play or worse review account and never give creative advice just tell people how stupid they are for not using a certain character. Then other just complain without giving thier reason about a topic. There are few creators that don't fit in this but over time they forget playing genshin is fun and move to the negative content themselves. It's always us vs them content that keeps the community split.
A genshin pvp would be cool
If game is dead that’s for good..
Hmm honestly this patch is beyond boring leaks be hype though but I’m busy with other mobile games
Too many other good games out right now. Elden ring has completely consumed me
I am happy with Genshin, and I can only afford to maintain one Gacha game.
Well, I haven't gone anywhere from Genshin. Just been busy with work irl. So I decided to cut the time I spend here on YouTube.
And the competition you speak of is not affecting mobile players like me.
