Why is SUMERU so Boring in Genshin Impact?

Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed by miHoYo, and published by miHoYo in mainland China and by HoYoverse worldwide. It was released for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, and Windows in 2020, on PlayStation 5 in 2021, and is set for release on Nintendo Switch. The game features an anime-style open-world environment and an action-based battle system using elemental magic and character-switching. A free-to-play game monetized through gacha game mechanics, Genshin Impact is expanded regularly through patches using the games as a service model.

Genshin Impact takes place in the fantasy world of Teyvat, home to seven nations, each of which is tied to a different element and ruled by a different god. The story follows the Traveler, an inter-dimensional adventurer who, at the start of the game, is separated from their twin sibling after the two land in Teyvat. Thereafter, the Traveler journeys across the nations of Tevyat in search of the lost sibling, accompanied by their guide, Paimon. Along the way, the two befriend myriad individuals and begin to unravel the mysteries of the land.

  1. I fucking loved sumeru. Idk what youre yapping abt😭😭
It was so interesting, and the lore was so easy to grasp and understand instead of being ALL hidden in books.

Bruh, that is cuz I work, come home, eat sleep hang with friends, game work and all of that. And regardless always do all my commissions everyday with 1075 achievements.

  3. The fact that both of us are in the same part for 6 months, but there’s a difference, I didn’t do the Natlan story either when it was available because I was too lazy to do it 😅

  5. I may still be in liyue. I may have a million different world quests (not even including the ones I haven’t started and found) and I may not be done exploring (which I like to do before an archon quest for easy travels) BUT I WILL PREVAIL!!

  6. Wait I loved the Sumeru Archon quest. I'll admit, the whole "gear up" phase in act IV where you're either waiting or running errands is a little lame, but it picks up when you confront the Eremites and it's a solid banger of a heist plot until the end of act V. And then act VI is also cool bc of the lore drops.
