  1. Watching him pull 4 five stars and then one of them being Qiqi, the only five star I've wanted since the game came out, hurts my little f2p heart…

I'm f2p btw if you couldn't tell I've actually never spent a cent on the game full f2p right here only free playing for me mmhmmm free to p l a y

  2. what a pretentious video and I get it…you do it on purpose for the clickbait.

nobody told you spend $40,000 on a game that has 40hour content and rest is daily grinding mats. I've spent $20 on games (brand new) that have better main quest content. sure they don't get "updates" but if the food delivery event was well worth $40000 then you need to check reality first before I check privilege. If the prices were more reasonable you'd probably see more "privileged" f2p spending money. Simple economics, you price something not that valuable in the stratosphere, you'll naturally have very little buyers. Being conscious of value/cost doesn't make a player entitled, it makes you not stupid. $40000 is probably a full year of salary for most and I would be pissed to hear they blew that on a anime JPEG/model and live on unhealthy top ramen for they daily nutrition.

Do me a favor, next time you are McDonalds, tell them you want them to charge you $2000 for the chance to win a cheeseburger.

  3. Realistically, there are advantages and disadvantages to both. And what one has an advantage over, the other has an issue with.

F2P – Less grinding XP books due to a smaller roster, more "meaning" to the smallest progression (upgrading weapons for example), pulling a 5 star or even a constellation is muuuuch more exciting, and you play for free of course so you feel no money was wasted.

Whales – A much more diverse roster making element pairing and countering easier (and as a result, Spiral Abyss), many mats don't need to be farmed since they can be bought (namely Mora and monster mats), never having to farm primogems, just having the ability to experience the game differently and at higher power levels (due to a larger roster and having multiple constellations), not having to worry about building weapons, and what you lost in money you easily gained in time spent.

They both have their bonuses and negatives honestly. Both have it better and worse in different areas. Just depends what you value. And to be fair, most likely, a whale will be pulling generally well. Even if they don't get what they want and rely on pity, they still are very likely have all of those advantages listed above. Even if they pull only 4 stars, they still have stupidly high constellations of them, making up for the lack of 5 stars.
