i play alhaitham because weapons banner gave me hos weaopn instead of Kazuha's

I remembered the first released, most of my friends just calling him just another keqing and skipable 😂 through sumeru patch and entering fontaine, he been a good companion for me, never forget how he indeed carrying me a lot
because he;s a hottie and i need him to do stiuff to me
he is my 1st 5stars
has been carrying me from mondstads trough sumeru and abyss
he used to be my stronget dps . . . neuvillette is just way too strong
now I use wriothesley tho he deal less dmg than neuvillette & alhaitham

I wouldn't say he cant be compared to Neuvilette. Just like Neuvilette he is a versatile and very strong onfield carry who has one of the best teams in the game. They are equal for me. But of course they cant compete with off field units like furina, xq, yelan, nahida
this series shouldnt be a why everyone plays or why no one plays its a very biased and contravirsial topic
I might have to pull for him. Skipped in the past because I dislike his personality, but now that I have a LoFI it might be good to overlook that detail haha.

And well… Still no kuki on my 6 months account. And I'm not pulling on a mf Ayato or Cyno just to get her.
With that said… My poor alhaitham has to consume like 3 fav procs just to reliable get his burst for every rotation. Or play some wonky 3 dendro team. Now that I have Neuvillette he also wants fischlussy. MAN I'm legit depressed playing Alhaitham as I pulled for his weapon long time ago and actually got it. He's one of my best dps hypercarries but playing him rn without kuki and nahida is just pain with current ER requirements. That is my personal issue though, I really hope I get Furina and Nahida so I can play and acutally enjoy Alhaitham.
As you go deeper into dolphin meta, spread/quicken become exceedingly powerful. And Alhaitham mirrors can dish significant damage in aoe. as a fast attacker, with good range, decent HP pool and being tall male, you get all the advantages you need on a dps. And his kit is extremely versatile.
I appreciate that you specify that he is the best on field dendro dps that is NOT Nahida, because Nahida being included just means he is second at everything.
I cannot be the only person who thought Alhaitham was a bad character prior to this video. Like literally nobody talks about him so I just assumed he was mid.
"Alhaitham is a man amongst gods". Interesting. too early to make this a conclusion lore-wise.
Alhaitham feels so buttery-smooth to play. His optimal gameplay incentivizes learning combos involving his entire flashy moveset (NA, CA, burst, and skill/plunge). This is unlike C0 Hu Tao whose pretty CA effects are ignored and wasted because you're forced to jump cancel every time which looks and feels ugly. Not to mention, as a Xiao main, it's pretty disappointing that spam plunge is his optimal gameplay. His anemo-infused normals literally have mesmerizing afterimages which your regular player would never see.
I dunno why but my quicken alhiatham team is little stronger and WAY consistent and easier to use than my hyperbloom alhaitham team. Even when i use the strongest characters with strongest builds in both scenarios.
Also because his JP voice is the same as my favorite autistic, racist gigachad Goblin Slayer

I liked the point you made about him being a DPS and Driver both together. As a Childe main since 1.1, Alhaitham's playstyle just feels incredibly natural to me, lol. I love how fluid his attacks are and how easy it is to keep them Dendro-infused and how his rotations feel to play. Combine that with a character and personality I find stupidly amusing, a great design and VA, and a prominent role in the Archon quest, then yeah, it's not wonder why he's basically my second main at this point. It's very often him and his Dendro teams I take with me in the Spiral Abyss, along with my go-to International. He just feels nice to play.
I definitely like him since day one because of his abs… I mean, his absolutely good playstyle, of course! hehe, heh….
