Oh! And an important tidbit: When I say Fatui's Goals, I mean the goal of the organization, not the individualized aspirations and ambitions of the harbingers. I think I mentioned this in the end part but all the Harbingers have varying levels of loyalty to the Tsaritsa and her cause, as well as the overall cause of Burning the Old World for the sake a new world. Signora's and Scaramouche's loyalties for examples are different due to their motivations. So yea, that's it.

  2. Why do I have a feeling Celestia is gonna screw them in the last minute before hand. Like Celestia sounds a lot more suspicious why the Gnosis have been stolen, they haven't been doing anything about it. But then again… they might think the Tsaritsa and the Fatui is nothing to them.

  3. Maybe Celestia wanted the Tsaritsa's plot to progress but not powerful enough to absolutely threaten the Celestia.

To repeat some on what I've said on Aster's previous post maybe JUST maybe while it appears that the Fatui are winning the war it was actually Gods of Celestia who is winning the war by making it appear that the Tsaritsa is winning enough to make the Fatui become arrogant and FOOL themselves to be lured in a trap set by Celestia.

And once the Nation of Snezhnaya took the bait the Celestia would be given enough justification to take down the Frozen land with its full might just like on how they took down the Godless Nation of Khaenriah.

  4. Also if you know the Toaru Anime series I'm starting to see that some of the Tsaritsa's goals are aligned with Aleister Crowley who intends to destroy the Gods and the Concept of Magic through the power of Science as he sees it as the only way for Mankind to be freed and accelerate its Evolution as a species. But this was done through a lot of countless human sacrifices just to fuel this goal.

  5. In before the only reason celestia hasn't done anything is due to them already being dead and the being we fought in the intro/pick a twin cutsence is sitting alone in heaven. Kinda like nier automata 🤔 what if when the gods ended human civilization 500 years ago, the humans unleashed a weapon that ended the gods and now only one remains and orders the 7 to follow the celestial principles under the guise of being the whole of celestia and not just one God remaining?

  6. Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t “gnosis” literally mean “knowledge” in Greek? So maybe the Tsaritsa needs all pieces of the “knowledge” and Celestia hasn’t interfered yet because unlike morax, the Tsaritsa can just leak the “knowledge” that she already have?

  7. Fatui want to ascend tsaritsa. Listen, everything is cyclical even the ruling body of heavenly principle, there was a SECOND THRONE that technically replace the primodial one & make teyvat today, n the one instigate archon war. If Tsaritsa & fatui able to challange the second throne, they will be the ruling body of celestia, this time she might either be destroying the system or embrace it by implementing a new rule for the world with the fatui as her saints or some

Because fatui member wants control, they want snezhnaya dominating other nation, is not possible that someone betray tsaritsa's wish to implement their own ideals on the third throne . Rest assure though, the traveler is kinda- promised to be the one that rewrite fate not fatui

  8. To start – about the peace.I think syaing that Fatui in fact, don't want to achieve peace', could be wrong, and the answer is very simple why – we are looking at it from our perspective, and as many other things, peace, despite having strong definition, falls into subjective category at the end of the day. I mean, look at the real world, when asked, many people wopuld say – not all, but majority – that the world is at peace, despite having literal wars at the time as we speak happening in some corners of the world. For some peace means peace inside their own bubble and in the neighbouring regions, for some a complete world peace where humans live in a harmony without destroying each other in the name of some kind of ideology or greed, and for some – it means COMPLETELY something else. This is why I believe, that the fatui – or at least tsaritsa – indeed want a peace, however, in their own way.Personaly, I think that it could mean two things (but ofc , I could be wrong). first, that the cryo archon wants to a complete destruction of the old nations with the strongest only surviving and simply start a new, with celestia, ofc, abolished., with no gods sitting in the throne. The other option, could be that the tsarica wants to not just kill celestia, but also take a hold of their place, seizing their throne and becoming the new celestia, but going against every rule that celestia had established and just follow her own ideologies. In this scenario she could destroy teyvat as a whole, but most likely she wouldn't, she would be simply just another absolute ruler. Of course all of it could be wrong, as so far we don't know much, and she and the fatui would want completely something else.

And finaly, why does Celestia doesn't care?To this one, I think the answer is the simplest one – as a highest being, or at least as they think of themselves – they simply don't feel threatened.I mean, for them ithe fatui seems like a bunch of ants performing a theatrical spectacle and nothing more, which is ironic, knowing the inspiration behind fatui.
Tho I do have a crack theory about which I thought some time ago and laughed it off, but nowadys, this idea reappears in my minds more often. The crack theory is – what if celestia does nothing because they could be either dead, or very wekeaned and at the verge of dying, due to a corruption that they've got during the archon war or right before it, from something? That would also explain why the sustainer is so desperate to keep everyone away from the celestia at all costs,as she knows that their end is nigh, and possibly , hers too, as she also could be corrupted or simply eroding away, but doesn't want to accept this kind of fate.Tho as I said, it is far-fetched, but I wouldn't be suprised that AT LEAST a part of it would turn out to be ture later in the future.
Just in case – sorry for any grammatical errors and typos, I write fast, I make mistakes and I do have eye problems so sorryin advance.

  9. One thing I find interesting is that Celestia are commonly painted as the designated villains but looking objectively (unless you use a Honkai lens which I wont for the sake of this) they don't really do anything particularly villainous. The people under Celestia live good stable lives without the threat of warfare. Each country is ruled in their own fucked up ways by our standards but for the most part it seems to work out for the people.

Ei was a driver of conflict and Electro Visions suddenly dried up. We know she isn't in charge of handing them out so Celestia was likely trying to make a decision regarding the Electro Archon (speculatively, replacement?)

The civilizations that were destroyed by Celestia don't seem to be peaceful ones. Often what's looked at is their technological progress and not their actions. War begets conflict, conflict begets choice, choice stands against pre-determination, standing against pre-determination means standing against Celestia.

Celestia has every reason to see themselves as the good guys. Meanwhile the Abyss opposes Celestia with a deontological point of view possibly destroying everything for their duties. The Fatui meanwhile want to "seize the gods' authority", if we take this literally they mean to take the place of Celestia which would just place the utilitarian rule under new management.

As for why Celestia takes no action there are some possibilities. Maybe they haven't reached the critical mass required for Celestia to take action. Maybe they have already taken action (theory of mine in regard to this is that Childe is meant as a means of destroying them from the inside due to numerology / constellation references, but I digress.) Maybe the Fatui are necessary because this is how Celestia iterates on itself?

The story hasn't even reached it's halfway point though so there's limits to how well we can speculate.

  10. Celestia hasn't done anything because even if they knew abt it the most probable way to stop them is to wage a war against Snezhnaya and if that happens they might risk losing the good identity they made up in the world and might as well cause another cataclysm which could cause more destruction all over teyvat

  11. i think that a reason for the co-existence between celestia and the fatui/snezhnaya is because the nation is ultimately led by the tsaritsa, someone who is in possesion of a gnosis. gnosis roughly means 'knowledge', so maybe the tsaritsa is cleverly bending or avoiding breaking the heavenly principles, as she most likely knows them well. also, possessing a gnosis perhaps means having knowledge of what khaenri'ah was discovering. because the tsaritsa was permitted to have the gnosis/knowledge she cant be punished for it. maybe khaenri'ah was close to finding/creating gnoses of their own

  12. The simple answer is, Celestia doesn't care about the Fatui, because they can easily body them. I feel as though by the time we get to Snezhnaya, most if not all of the remaining Harbringers will either be dead or go rouge.

Of the current Harbringers left, I don't think many of them can even rival the power of an Archon, who are implied to be weaker than the "higher gods" of Celestia.

The "Abyss Order" will end up being the overall threat to Celestia.

  13. (if you see this yay for u ur boredom is cured a couple of mins) I have a theory about how the cyro archon will collect all of the gnosis that kinda matches up with your theory, so far we know that she has taken the anemo gnosis by force with the help of signora, sent signora to collect the gnosis that zohngli has since they made a contract and sent singnora and scaramouche to collect the elctro gnosis, of course scaramouche has the gnosis now which is why when sumeru comes out we will see scaramouche again but i feel like he may die by one of the fatui harbingers ( he will be brought back to life somehow and be kind to the travleler and reflect on what has done in life and we may never see him again until maybe celecstia or something) anyways but the Tsarista will obtain the electro gnosis, as for the dendro gnosis i feel like this is when dottore will come in in the fatui traier we see dottore burning down the tree in collie's vision. i feel like to prevent the tree from burning down the dendro archon will trade her gnosis for the sparing of the tree, which matches well with how sumeru functions since its HUGE when it comes to trading ( i also kinda think that he will still burn it down anyway and that seed will found in chasm will be planted in its place) as for hydro archon if you remember from the story trailer preview it basically sums that the hydro archon will do anything to stay in the good gazes of celestia (she must know someone is watching them) i feel like it the fatui will forcibly take the gnosis from her but not without a fight. i feel there will be at least a couple of the harbingers fighting her and one may even die but they will still obtain the gnosis but this will send the hydro archon into a frenzy trying to get her gnosis back she may even try to contact celestia which would then be celecstias entry point in the story, as for the pyro archon i feel it will be a battle to the death for the pyro gnosis with one of the higheer ranking fatui (maybe captiono idk just feels he would be perfect for the role) and someone else that is important to the story( not traveler) or maybe even the pryro archon herself which i think is unlikely , but somehow the fatui will win and that important character traveler has met will die, I feel like the fatui will obatain the pyro gnosis but celestia will kill captiono, this will be the official entry of celestia, with the killing of a strong fatui harbinger and celestia descending down to teyvat this will cause many of the archons to go into a frenzy some may try to act like a god again and act right now that they know celestia is present while some of the archons may still rebel against celestia, with the cyro archon now knowing celestia is upon teyvat she will speed up the process, she will then gather other archon (say zhongli, venti a possibly ei since they seem to careless about celestia) to fight against celestia and the other gods. the dendro archon will side with celestia maybe out of fear or again a trade, the hydro archon out of fear to protect her people and her self and the pyro archon because she may want even out the odds idk, this will cause all of these nations to fight against one another and many of out beloved characters may die, this will cause the traveler to go basically into a panic attack and he will them see what his twin meant when they talk about how bad the gods are and how they willing to do anything to basically keep order, this will finally unlock the travelers tur powers which will make all the archons and even celestia fear them. (SORRY FOR SOME SPELLING AND GRAMMAR MISTAKES LOL)

  15. I would highly encourage anyone interested in the motivations of the Fatui to give Honkai impact 3rd a try. The story of Honkai parallels Genshin's a lot, and one of the characters in the story has goals that are very similar to what we've seen from the Fatui so far. They're of the mindset that saving the world and sacrificing humanity are not mutually exclusive things.

Basically, you have to be willing to lose many battles if you're intent on winning the war. Especially when that war is against beings that are far and above anything you could hope to fight against. To them, life under the constant threat of the divine has virtually no meaning, and until they are truly "free" they cannot consider themselves to be truly living. The character(s) that have this mindset are one's who've already witnessed the destruction of their world and feel that as long as the greater threat is eliminated the ends justify the means (ex. humanity must defeat the honkai no matter the cost). Pierro having witnessed the destruction of his personal world, and most likely knowing it's bound to happen again has probably adopted a similar mentality.

And that's not even mentioning Otto.

  16. unlike most comments, i don't think celestia isn't making a move cuz they looking down on snezhnaya, for khaenri'ah was a manmade nation yet they posed the biggest threat to them, meanwhile snezhnaya aren't less powerful the khaenri'ah, we even see them trying to replicate khae's tech (through marionette) and they have cutting edge tech (dottore was recruited cuz he tried to made something that would anger celestia thus was kicked out and taken by the fatui)…so my guess is that they can't make a move….and the heavnly principle isn't actually a rule the nations must comply with, but celestia itself…perhaps they can't make anymove only if the action of a certain individual or nation pass a certain degree, khae passed it, sol vyndigar(?), and on the other hands snezhnaya/sumru (who's indulging in some dangerious stuff as dain said) didn't pass the threshold yet
although this may be contradicting my point above, the key to answer that is what's the tsaritsa goal by collecting the gonis's, it remind me of no game no life anime, where the sibling need to get the races chest pieces to be able to challenge the god, so maybe if the tsaritsa collect all gnosis's…she can challenge celectia…which make it as if celestia is just waiting for them to prove their worth, so its all entertainment

  17. I also forgot to mention (minor spoiler territory here…very minor) but the fatui, as i stated before, are no where near a threat for celestia. We still dont know why the cryo archon is collecting all the gnosis etc and plus if you saw what khanriah was doing when their civilization was still alive, youd understand why the fatui are not so much of a threat. I.E. in sumeru there is literally a giant kaiju sized robot (from khanriah) there.

  18. Why do I have the feeling that if the Fatuis successfully liberate Teyvat from the Gods, that's when something bad will happen… like the what happened in RWBY, where Salem tried to eliminate the 2 gods… only it eliminated all of the humanity and magic, except for Salem.

  19. I read this reddit theory about Celestia and the traveller's identity and it made me look so different about Celestia that there may be instances that i think they are doing the right thing with Teyvat. With that said tho, i feel like Celestia would insert itself suddenly in the story that even the Fatui would get shaken up and would be the final boss. I hope however that the story doesn't end with just the Celestia being the final bad. The traveller has so much mystery behind them that it would make into a great material. Can't disagree that i do want to see an Evil Traveller in the story.

  21. I think Celestia is already interfering with the Fatuis. In regards to this, Paimon is the only candidate that I can think of. Remember when Kazuha told us that Paimon smells like stars? I think that Paimon is somehow hiding herself to monitor whether Teyvat is worth saving or not.

  22. While their military might be the strongest, they are not omnipotent. An alliance between 2 or 3 nations maybe enough to stop them. We learn that invading other countries by force could have terrible consequences and that the risks aren't worth it.
Mondstadt is probably the only one where they use force openly and get away with it because Varka took almost all their forces away leaving them near helpless.
It was said that breaking into Inazuma by brute force was incredibly difficult and not worth the price which was they settled for dismantling it from within.

  23. I still think, half-jokingly, that Pierro might be Kaeya's dad. Pierro survived the cataclysm from 500 years ago and became the First Harbinger, and he has never been replaced since. Is he cursed with immortality like Dain? It's strange that Kaeya was born nearly 500 years after the cataclysm. By process of elimination, this is only possible if his parents or one of them was cursed with immortality like Dain. Which probably means they're royalty or one of the high positions in the royal court. Pierro seems to tick those boxes. And Kaeya is prophesied to be a royal progeny. But idk, maybe I'm just biased towards my favorite character. (That, or the answer to this riddle is as simple as some time travel jumbo-dumbo.)

  24. maybe what they mean with "checkmate is not where the game ends" is that by removing all remaining pieces in the board, they can prevent the cycle of repeating itself. basically eliminating individuals that could have the potential to become a new celestia of sorts.
    idk, just a wild guess

  25. The last time a deity did something Celestia didn't like, they sentenced him to death, so things are not looking good for the Tsaritsa. Then again, maybe her survival isn't part of her plan. What I'm more interested in is the fact that the traveller has commited the same "sin" as Orobashi by reading that book, yet no one showed up to execute her. The abyss order is also doing weird things to the statue and the nail, but again nothing happens. Makes you wonder if Celestia is busy with something they consider a bigger threat, like infighting. Istaroth is implied to be working against whoever is in charge
