  1. wow, finally a bedtime story! I'm so glad you finished the main quests on time, right before Natlan) I really like your videos, so it will be a pleasure for me to watch your videos about the new storyline of the archons already in Natlan!

  2. That was a surprise I thought today would be a story quest

Dain threw a lore bomb so big that I had to take the day off to organize the timeline in my head when I finished the quest

btw remember Lisa's story quest book at the beginning of the game? Look for it and read it to see if you notice any similarities

  3. I think Lumine is actually the one who doesn't see the bigger picture. She is only focused on Khaenriah, she doesn't care for anyone else, even her brother!
"I can't face myself, let alone my brother" – what a stupid thing to say! They clearly could travel together and seak for answers together!
And unlike Lumine, Aether cares for other people in Teyvat, not only Khaenrians.
Also I am pretty sure that lumine DOESN'T KNOW "The truth of this world". She knows just a part of truth but assumes that it is the whole truth :/

  4. This quest made me angry with our twin , she accused dainslief of being the enemy of not saving his people (at the start when we found her again) yet she choose to side with dains brother the sinner who didn’t save their people while dainslief did his best to save them . She also badly attacked him while he didn’t raise his sword to her yet we say nothing on that . I honstesly don’t even give a stuff about our twin any more she’s an hypocrite. And caribert . While I get his intentions where good he admitted he had no idea what our twin was going to do yet he still gave it to her . I do still wish he had a happier ending though

  5. The fact that Lumine said that if Dainslief fought seriously she would not be able to beat him reaffirms my theory that even if the traveler regains all his powers he would not be even at the level of an archon, so the hypothetical final battle against Celestia will be probably a final war between all the factions that we have been uniting throughout the game vs Celestia, otherwise I don't see celestia losing against the traveler.

  6. I still remember the 4.7 Special program when Zach, Aether's VA, said, "I HAVE LINES!" lol. It's always fun to compare and contrast the voices of the main chars (Aether and Lumine) when they're either the Traveler or the Abyss twin.

I did enjoy this Dains quest more than the last one, but I still enjoyed the 2nd Dains one the best. Still this one was awesome when it came to lore. So YEAH! Welcome to the next bit of Lore bomb when it comes to Khaenri'ah- the 5 Sinners and we already know about three. Just to remind you that Skirk also mentioned Dain's older brother too when she mentioned the different names of her master's associates. What IS interesting is that Skirk doesn't strike me as a bad person, and 500 years is a long time, so makes me wonder if ANY of these "Sinners" have changed. We're definitely going to have to meet them at someone point, it would make NO sense to mention them, only for them to never show up.

I don't know if I someone post what Caribert said to Atossa by the time I finish this comment, but here's what he said to her in those unknown words on the screen (someone did research)- "Farewell Atossa. I apologize for making you know me unwillingly. Still I don't wish you to forget me."

FYI, I always make my comments as I watch videos (as a rule).

One thing to note about that entire scene in Caribert's subconsciousness, we never see Paimon, so I wonder why that was the case. I have my own theories of course, but I won't say them lol. But yeah that entire scene with Caribert and the Traveler's sibling, it's very bittersweet. I'll be honest, I still have no clear idea of what a completed Loom of Fate will do, but just to refresh your memory, remember that ALL Ley Lines connect to Irminsul, so there's a high chance that the Loom of Fate could affect that tree now. It makes me wonder AGAIN if Nahida will notice anything if the Abyss Order manages to learns how to use it to create more ley lines.

But yeah faster and faster we're reaching the climax! I do think the next Dains quest will be the last one ONLY because after that, we'll be in-between Snezhnaya and Khaenri'ah and since Dains will most likely become playable in 7.0, well, I don't know. I guess it is possible to get a Dains quest during the Snezhnaya cycle, it just really depends on WHEN it happens. Let me look up exactly which patches the Dains quests happened. I only remember the 3rd and obviously this one (the 4th). Looks up Okay 1.3 and 2.6 were the first 2. Last years was in 3.5 and this year it was in 4.7. So yeah, it could come at ANY time. Only patches it'll never come out on (I would think) are for sure the Archon Quests for Snezhnaya, Lantern Rite, and the Summer Event. So I think IF a Dains quest comes out before 7.0, I think the earlier it comes out, the better like say maybe 6.3 (probably not, Hoyo likes to do a festival for .3 patches. 6.4 will be the Lantern Rite, so yeah maybe 6.5 would be best like they did in 3.5. This is all PURE speculation on my part of course haha.

But yeah congrats KB for catching up with the game. Now you're ready for Natlan, main story wise at least lol.

Oh well… Good gosh you're here it's time

    Massive lore inbound

1:03 oh what's… Oh Simp got you a coffee

I tried using the website but they only take credit card and in dollars, sorry 😅

    2:10 it truly is odd

11:27 Mr KB… About that chest in the background

15:40 U know they sometimes upgrade the graphics in the background, but since we spent most of the time on the cartoony map it might have been more difficult to see

17:09 and when the abyss is involved we often find… DAIN!

    21:21 gasps! Deep lore

    43:48 … Now hold your horses…

    59:30 oh boy it's time…

    1:01:57 I… Have theories about this…
    More on discord

    1:06:58 Dan Dan Daaaaan

    1:26:50
This part really hurt, they're officially siblings, aether is adopting Caribert as his sibling I take no criticism over this

1:27:05 the loom of fate can weave leylines, though it's still uncertain of changing the world's memories can actually manifest real tangible objects irl… We can probably assume that as his consciousness was finally fading away he used the loom of fate to weave a single picture, as a memory

    1:27:40 … Now you're caught up! Huzzah! 🎉
    We're ready for Natlan

  8. Oh, finally I see you play it KB!! :))
Thank you for the vid 🤩I so enjoyed your reaction 😊
I tought long about this quest and this is what I think: *warning…its a lil long…I´m sorry but I can´t explain this short😅

This is one of the saddest quests I ever played in genshin…my heart is bleeding
The Alberich clan is obviously gone trough a lot heart breaking stuff already.

I hope I am not the only one who stumbles over the similarities between Caribert and Kaeya.

First, they was bouth 8 years old the time their lives turned upside down.

Bouth are half blood bcs of their mothers.

Like Caribert in the quest, Kaeya also trys to live a life in a peacefull place (Mondstadt). They coulden't accept their fate, bouth.

They are used as a tool… Caribert for the loom and Kaeya as a spy. And in bouth cases, it wasen't their decision.

If you give Caribert a lil bit longer hair and a eyepatch, the similarities are hillarious!!

If I have to take a guess about Kaeya's ancestry, I think he is a descendant from Anfortas ( Schwanenritter ) side of the family. Maybe Chlotars brother. This would also make sense bcs they were great swordsman.

What I also noticed,in this quest it's all about siblings …

For the loom of fate, if I have to take a guess, I think the abyss will try to write a variation of the current time line, just without the cataclysm and they will try to fuse the timelines at some point then. Yeah, I hear you thinking "but the leylines can not replace one another". I know that. But what if the Abyss trys to find a way to make it work? You know, like back then, where Dain told us, that the curse can not be undone…but Clothar in the end did it.

Btw we still have 4 regions to go: Natlan, Shneznaya, Khaenria'h, Heavenly principles and maybe also (Abyss). I think in Khaenria'h we will meet much more monsters and mecha then people. Oh yeah and some "Sinners".

I also speculate that Dains element is gravitas or some kind of black stardust magic. And I also think there will be the "Light" element like our Abyss Sibling. I noticed the fact that no matter wich sibling you play, their clothes and accessoires glows all withe. Thats very sus in some way.

I can't wait for the things to come.
Have a great weekend KB! 😊😎

  9. Oh btw just a reminder! the Archon Quests with Dainsleif are part of the same chapter as the nation Archon Quests that came right before it (so Bedtime Story is in Chapter IV, just like Masquerade of the Guilty) but is also labelled as a Traveller chapter rather than, for example, Fontaine chapter or Sumeru chapter
Interlude Archon Quests are part of their own separate chapter (the Interlude chapter) which are like side stories that are not part of the main line of Archon Quests, though they may branch off from certain points of the main line (such as Inversion of Genesis branching off from the end of Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises)

  10. Hey KB. Just wanted to ask – have you done the Aranara world quest or the desert quests (Liloupar and Jecht.) I couldn't see them on your channel but might have missed seeing them. If you haven't do you plan to? Both are amazing with some of the best music in Genshin.

  11. This quest is not part of the Interlude Chapter, it's part of the main chapter, right after Fontaine's Archon Quest.
Interlude Chapter quests ("The Crane Returns on the Wind" about Shenhe, "Perilous Trail" about Xiao and the Yakshas and "Inversion of Genesis" about Wanderer) are still considered part of the story but they're unrelated to each other.

  12. Caribert 。゚(゚ノД`゚)゚。

I will get revenge for you both from the sinners and Celestia!!! Especially after the summer event reminded me of how much I dislike Gold

I cried so much because of this quest and still get sad whenever i remember it.

Sibling wtf are you on? The sinners are as guilty as Celestia here. Like I don’t want to live in a world made by a loom of the Abyss order.

  13. Reminder, the Lay Lines are the roots of Irminsul. Attaching manmade Lay Lines would cause an unnatural imbalance, resulting in disasters and a way to reintroduce forbidden knowledge to Teyvat, rendering Greater Lord Rukkadevata's sacrifice in vain. Caribert doesn't know of the potential consequences of such actions as he still had the mindset of a child.
