Over a year has passed since my last Element ranking video and with so many new characters and more development in the meta, I wanted to redo my elements episode and rerank which ones I think are the best and the worst now!

  1. Hydro is best that's for sure
But I don't agree with vape being the most critical pyro reaction, melt has a higher multiplier but since we don't have decent supports like Yelan on cryo vape is more used, I don't think it's better tho it's kind of because of characters we have

  2. Some fun buffs for Physical, Cryo and Geo would be:
    – dealing Physical or Geo to Shielded targets builds up the Shatter status (like posture damage, scaling off the damage dealt instead of the reactions caused), after reaching a certain threshold it will proc Shatter and instantly break the shield, Shatter will greatly decrease the targets resistances.
    – The regular Shatter of Frozen or Petrified targets will also greatly decrease the targets resistances.
    – Electro and Cryo should reduce the enemy Defense percentually for each application (like a Corrosion effect that builds up the more it is procced).

Thsi way both Phys and Geo solve the issue of elemental shields, Superconduct becomes a way more useful reactions in general, Shatter will have a more meaningful effect (even though I wish applying Geo to a Geo afflicted character would Petrify said character, idk how it would be useful for synergy with other elements)

  3. I’d personally put Anemo over Dendro for the simple fact that Kazuha was used in every showcase of this video LOL

Anemo also works better with most elements, while Dendro is more hydro-electro focused. Can’t react at all with Cryo, and not the best with Pyro. And to end it, I feel like the element is strongly carried by Nahida, while it’s not the case for other elements.

  4. Geo : can be reworked by doing dmg to the enemies who are sheilded but maybe have a restriction % dmg reduction. Even though everything in game its made against any forme of interaction for Geo/ Physical dmg for enemies that have sheilds. And in every abyss rotation 98% of cases the enemies have sheilds or needed elements to counter them due to there mechanics.,
I hope im wrong and i want to be proven wrong in the future but honestly i dont see light / hope for Goe or physical damage.

  5. Like how I've watched enough Vars vids that I basically knew the list order. The hyperbloom trio of elements really shine both as part of that trio and apart.
Though I didn't even consider phys an element initially

  6. Ironically now physical and geo also use hydro, or more specifically the hydro archon. Eula's best team now is Raiden/Furina/C6 Mika and Noelle is Furina/Yelan/Kazuha with Petra or Furina/Albedo/C6 Gorou with Marechaussee.
