  1. I just found out: If you check the place where we find Nikolay's letter again, it disappears after a day… soooo there is a veerrry small level of hopium that Katarina is still alive and she just dropped her stuff temporarily and she picked it up the next day.

  2. I always rofl when Hoyo introduce Fatui characters with informal Slavic names. For example, Lyudochka is diminutive variant of the name Lyudmila and it sounds odd to me, because in Russia we use diminutive variants only if we are very close with this person, otherwise it is considered impolite. On the other hand, the names Kolya and Katya are just short variants of Nicolay and Katarina and not diminutive (like Matthew and Matt for example).

  3. I feel so bad for the Fatui…and so annoyed at Childe – I hope there's some indication that he at least tried helping those who ended up trapped at the Chasm

  4. It's a grim life to be a Fatui member. Once the Harbingers or the Tsaritsa do the most insane of acts that ruins Snezhnayans, they're stripped off access and forgotten by locals of other nations, making them feel like an outcast.

  5. Monstadt's & Liyue's quests: usually happy endings, some bittersweet, rarely depressing.
    Inazuma's quests: depressing af.
Enkanomiya's quests: well, we're in Inazuma, so let's be depressing.
The Chasm's quests: Wait, we're in Liyue? I thought we were in Inazuma.

Seriously though, the Chasm was so depressing I thought it was an Inazuma update and not a Liyue update.

  6. I tot what Childe did was scripted? Wasn't Zhongli wants them to summon the monster from the sea to check whether the Qixing can handle themselves without the help of the adepti which in return, Zhongli will give the gnosis as part of the contract?

  7. Fatuis soldiers behave hostile and are the number 1 enemies around al Teyvat… but they are only following orders from the Harbingers or from the Tsaritsa directly. In Ganyu's quest, boring one for sure, but still we also find in there a Fatui with no evil intentions and he was just following orders. I shouldnt mix things of a videogame with real life but it is the same thing with Russia currently, those soldiers dont want war and are against it but if they dont follow orders they know the consequences for them and their families will be severe.

  8. Just like how in the real world the actual evils are the ones in charge and higher ups, these fatui soldiers are largely just orphans that had no choice but to do as they are told. Even Anton's comrades don't want to leave the chasm at first because their duty was to protect the liyue civilians, even after learning of what happened outside and how everyone hates them.

  9. Even Viktor (Fatui in the church) said he only follow orders and he wait for a long time since Signora first come there. Only recently there is a new daily commission quest which he wanna say goodbye and asking us to choose a farewell gift for a kid who the only person that are nice to him
