  1. Just like how we aren't even sure when did Lantern Rite 2 actually took place.

Not once did anyone mentioned about our adventures or achievements in Inazuma
but for some reason Beidou already knew us and even stated the traveler as a friend

The Travelers supposed or planned question for Ningguang was where to find or any information on our twins location
Remember after we talked our Twin alongside Deinsleif the travelers overall goal changed and shifted from finding our tiwn to learning more about the world.

Lantern Rite 2 seems to have happened pre Inazuma and even before we met our twin.

Also main Cutscenes or Archon story Scenes will show the travelers with a specific Aura even if you had Anemo Or Lectro Traveler
Lantern Rite 2 had our Traveler use GEO element this makes it even more possible that this happened pre Inazuma

  2. This exactly reminds me of Zhongli's first story quest, which starts with him partaking in a debate amongst other historians about the history of Rex Lapis. If Zhongli was not there, then we as the traveller might also accept some of their other theories about Rex Lapis's motivations. We only know they aren't true because we have the perspective of knowing the actual Archon himself.

EDIT: Just want to add on this is a very insightful and informative video. So many people are claiming the story and story-telling is bad when it is merely intentionallly incomplete, or just not in-your-face

  3. I’ve always been more engaged to Genshin’s lore to the point where I don’t skip dialogue in a lot of events and quests.

I always found Genshin’s lore very engaging than others games like lost ark and even final fantasy 14. However I never could explain why Genshin’s lore was so engaging. Now I know why. Haha.

  4. My life all changed when I was 7, I had a perfect life until I went to a random party I was having fun until I saw the party hosts bedroom, they have immeasurable hate for Elmo I saw an abused Elmo doll pinned to the wall with nails, they had torn down posters, a knife in the middle of they're torn diary with bloody patches and one page in their diary said: "Elmo Is a demonic being that feeds on children's happiness." I felt like throwing up, the hosts bedroom was so creepy that i felt like I was watched.

  5. What facinates me the most is that the story itself isnt just yours, its the story of everyone and everything, even the story of events that happened thousands of years ago waiting for someone to uncover them

  7. This is what I love about genshin, the fact that its world building is so dense. The story is what it is for now but there's so many different stories about what's happening that we never know what's happening completely, that gap is what makes theorizing so fun

  8. "There's lore hidden in everything…."

Yeah, even in the battle music because I found the translations for Azdaha's and La Signora's battle themes on accident and they tell the story of Azdaha and La Signora but with La Signora there is a little extra I think.

In Signora's song, the mention the Fatui and how Signora was save by a god (most likely the Tsaritsa) and towards they mention something about the Abyss and the enemy and some other things……
    It's really cool

  9. "everyone is a work-in-progress, all the characters are going through their own form of development and are embarking on their own journey's"

with that, the video is already SOLD. <3

  10. I think the way that Genshin does its storytelling its really interesting and possibly unintentionally wquite poignant in that just like our IRL history we only have peoples opinions of what happened and its only recently that weve been getting unbias fact, and even then the bias is strong with misinformation floating about.

There are things that are collectively agreed upon that can be taken as fact but the details are opinion. We know the archons arent the almighty as they have all lived countless lives/reincarnations over time so there has to be something greater than them [the unknown god?]

The little bits of lore that we get from story quests are again bias, and as the traveller we are to hear everyones perspective and find the commonalities that are agreed upon. Like the saying goes, theres three sides to a story, my side, your side and somewhere inbetween, the truth. Effectively as the Traveler we are that truth. Its interesting that the deities as such are named Archons, not gods. Archon meaning more like leader or governor, in this case they are the governor of their element and region. The only thing seeming to separate Archons and vision bearers is that Archons have a gnosis instead of a vision and that anyone holding a gnosis can control that element rather than only the vision bearer being able to use a particular vision.

  11. The beauty of genshin lore is driving people up a wall just wondering why did Zhongli said this or why did Dainsleif said that, also trying to find out why did our twin became the abyss prince or princess. But all jokes aside, you really need to keep up with the lore because the lore will give you up if you can't run if it. For e.g. I remember seeing a video talking about Dainsleif might being Gold, but in 2.3, it's turns out that Gold wasn't even Dainsleif and just Albedo's teacher, and this is why always google things you don't understand

  12. thats the problem with some parts of genshin’s lore being locked behind events. Take me for example, I started out in 1.5 so I never got to play thru the Stars event involving Mona and Scaramouche.

Also wheres the cutscene with Jean, Amber and Lisa drawn by a child from?

  13. Whatever you say is bad for this game but I'd say the Genshin impact game is truly marvelous because there is a story like a history in this game which is also is very good way to attract the players and there is always a uncertainty of every event which also speaks the players interest. The game has no One Way ticket to victory the games story goes as you can understand it which is very good unlike the other games. If i have known the ending of the game like the others then it will be pointless no ? In this game we do not know what will happen that's why this game is so much fun to play
