What the Setekh Wenut Does Underground Off Camera in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact’s newest world boss, the Setekh Wenut, is awfully familiar. Just like the Ruin Serpent, let’s see what it’s up to off camera and underground!

Curious about its fellow boss, the Ruin Serpent? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7G-_CwEprlQ

  1. This boss is underground 95% of the time and was so irritating will farming it. It only has 3 attacks that CAN deal damage: the one where it shoots its crap out infront of itself and the one where it summons the balls where the text on your screen appears, and where it shoots up beneath you.
The other times it slithers to the surface, back down, and goes in the air in an arch pattern.
It's safe to say my Al-haitham will be at lvl 80 for a while.

  2. When will they stop making bosses like this? It’s so annoying to fight when it’s always going underground. I don’t know a single person who enjoys fighting these types of bosses especially when they put them in abyss

  3. Moosashi… Do u know that there's different islands underground? Which will pop up on the surface only when the quest is done ? I actually finished a part of the world quest, broke the game i suppose, collected 3 dendroculous from beneath the surface TT. That place is where the water is stationary and u step on water the effect looks pretty like in mona's island from GAA2..

  4. What if… Ruin Serpent was actually Khaenri'ah attempt to imitate the Wenut species? Wenut is a living being and it dug out a tunnel for its own habitat. Ruin Serpent takes this idea and uses it to make big tunnels in The Chasm. There is even the exclusive boss at the depth of The Chasm named Haftvad The Worm. Makes you wonder where they got the inspiration to name it?

  5. I personally didn't really like this boss because when you use a bow and catalyst characters they seems to be attacking at it's middle part even tho it's already submerged inside the sand

  6. Its interesting how different you pronounce it to what i have in mind. I dont know if an NPC says the name of the boss ingame so currently I only have my own guess (and I mostly play with audio off except for main story, so I dont even know if Setekh has been pronounced by an NPC before) but I would pronounce it: [Se'tesh WeNut] (last part like the 2 english words, which makes it slightly… funny… but I dunno. Thats how I would say it)
