Well anyway, I don't think the problem lies on the reward.
The problem lies that mihoyo is ignoring feedback for months, It just happens that the acumulated frustation explode in this event, where the rewards are absurdly low

As a consumer is important to remind the company that their 1billion profit + come from us, and they are welcome to get more from us, but only if they give us quality content and listen to community complains.
The community was a whole had been pointing out a lot of problems, and suggesting solutions, but They blantly ignored us. So I'm happy that this drama happened, but I really don't think it will be enough, they will just give more primogems on events.
What I really wanted from that, is that they adressed the worst issues the games has, starting with end game content and better replayability, also reworking resing system or at least make it better.

Hi non genshin player here. What's the anniversary present that's so underwhelming?
I don't understand why everyone was/is so mad about the Anniversary rewards… Just because y'all haven't seen what you wanted to see from the "possibly anniversary rewards leaks" doesn't mean that you had to bomb genshin with bad ratings, it makes the community sound toxic and childish.
If you think about it, some of you bought something from the store and then started to write how they regret it because of the rewards, were u expecting that the money you spent would come magically back because it's thEIr AnNYVerSaRy? And just because they have a lot of money doesn't mean that they HAVE TO GIFT US free 5 stars… McDonald's, Burger King, KFC etc. have a lot of money but they don't give food out for free?

There's only one legitimate reason to hate Genshin Impact, and that's the lack of mouse Y axis invert. Inexcusable that a AAA title doesn't have this basic feature. The game should be reviewed at 0/10 by every single publication until they put it in.
so for the new to mihoyo honkai impact didnt get S*** on the first year either all we got is the HOV which swayed the meta to it and it only (yay pffft) . mihoyo will not put the aneversary rewards in proper excution up untill the second year (in honkai we got twilight paladin on second year which was then followed by better rewards later on like that of fervent tempo , and this year honkai gave the choice of picking from 3 solid S tier units and tons of gems(primo equavlent) this ofc being the 5th year memo for the game). yet again i even warned my friends not to get bummed out from that . i told them mihoyo will not give a first year rewards so dont expect anything . on the second year prepare to see the worst 5 star turn a really solid one if not take over . so yeah i kinda saw it coming from 1000000 miles away

They deffinetly need community managers that stream offten, sharing whats going on whats coming up much like how Warframe does. Having a constant dialog would do much to improve all of this thats going on right now and in the future. I would also like to add, to all the artist and voice actors and people behind the scence that work hard to make the game. Thank You.
