Genshin Impact combat mechanics heavily rely on how teams work together to bring out their highest damage. Team rotations are a big part of this, but do you know how team rotations work? This video will teach you what are team rotations, how to optimize team rotations, and extra tips on how to improve your damage and gameplay with team rotations. #GenshinImpact #GenshinGuide

Raiden, Yanfei, Kokomi and Ganyu. Instead of one big team I split them into 2. But they all can work together well in my opinion.
My team rotation isn't too far from the one in the video, but I use Ganyu instead of Ayaka since I don't have her levelled.
Shenhe uses E then Burst
Kazuha uses Hold E to swirl cryo then burst if available
Swap to Kokomi for her E
Swap to Ganyu and Burst, then E
Swap to Shenhe to collect particles from Ganyu's E
Swap to Kokomi for her burst (extends her jellyfish duration)
Swap to Ganyu for charged shots.
More often than not things stay frozen and at the very least, Ganyu and Shenhe have their bursts built back up.
What a nice guide!! 😍😍 Thanx a lot
It's funny I don't have Hu Tao, but I use almost the exact same set up rotation for Yanfei
Ayato main DPS /Xiangling/ yun jin/ Bennet is my fav comp to use atm. Crack head man is really rewarding
Can you do more team rotations of popular teams?
I really dislike overly complex and fussy rotations. It seems too much like "work" and not like "play." I prefer using flexible rotations where you focus on one character being onfield DPS and everyone else is either long-duration offield buffs like Zhongli/Barbara/Raiden/etc., or quick damage drops you can rotate in as needed. If the game ever required me to micromanage rotations carefully to get by then I would just bounce off of it.
One big rotation tip I learned is with characters like Kazuha, This is going to be very specific to me I reckon but who knows
I use Ayato with Kazuha and Bennett, I’ve found if I start off using Ayato burst, switch and use Kazuha Skill for the Res Shred and Damage boost then burst to continuously proc those 2 effects it that doesn’t do a whole lot for me, however if I to the same rotation but use Bennet’s burst before Kazuha’s Kazuha will swirl Pyro instead, this will allow me to get me to get the benefits Kazuha provides to Ayato whilst also weaving in an occasional reverse Vape with Ayato
I think what I’m trying to say has something to do with Anemo’s elemental absorption order, I think the least priority is Electro on the enemy, then Cryo, then Pyro then Hydro all on the enemy, then it’s Electro on yourself, then Cryo, then Pyro, then Hydro on yourself. Then there’s the part about how Viridescent Veneerer doesn’t proc when the Anemo character is off field meaning if you absorb the element into something like Kazuha’s burst or Venti’s burst then it wouldn’t be as efficient as swirling something you can react off
great vid sevy. this is what i watch or look for in honkai. dps rotations since i started in that game late. this i s great content for new comers to genshin. even day1 players like me might have missed or would like these reinforced in our brain. Pinoy powah!
AR 59 random bullshit go with some thought put out to snapshot some bursts
Me, a mobile player with bad pings: I try to rotate but I do a lot of fat-fingered swaps and sometimes the loading is rough so I’m trying to make teams reaction teams that don’t rely on precision too much!
Honestly, the bar graph visual used with the Hu Tao team makes everything so much easier to understand. I wish that type of graphic was used more often!
My favorite team is Zhongli, Ayato, Bennett, Xiangling because it’s so easy! Zhongli E hold, Ayato Q, Bennett Q then E, Xiangling Q then E, Ayato E, Zhongli Q (optional)
Hey Sevy, thank you so much for this video. I must say I've never been really into maximizing damage as I prefer to level up my account steadily, but I found it so interesting the way you explained team rotations that I'd like to give it a try –it looks as if it were a song score!
Also, the vibro-crystal event encourages trying different team comps, so kudos!
I’m AR 56 and I STILL do random bullsh*t 😭

I want to ask you something out of curiosity. Have you ever played genshin on gamepad like xbox controller or dualshock? I started playing on ps4 and now when I play on PC I just can't go along with mouse and keyboard. Maybe it is just me but xbox one pad is just perfect for genshin. Also doing abyss is possible (33-34 star mainly due to weak artifacts and playing from 2.0). Anybody here also using gamepad?
Zhongli Hold EQ, Yun Jin Q, Rosaria EQ, Razor QE, Normal Attack Combo = BIGG PP DMG
Well, i haven't watched any guide about the geo hu tao team's rotation, and i only disvovered last week that i have to use albedo Q lastly before spamming CAs, lol
Also, how should i know that whose burst is snapshotting and whose isn't?
