  1. .. Meh.. Sorry, I kind of get the impression you don't really know what you're talking about.

These two banners are among the better banners we've ever had, literally replace Xinyan with Bennett on the character banner, and Rainslasher with… ehh… Sacrificial Greatsword I guess..? And every single rate-up item or character would be a fantastic pickup. This is a long one so TLDR is: 4-stars are overall very healthy pickups for nearly any account, and the 5-stars all fill worthwhile niches with the exception of Broken Pines which is only really good on Eula, kinda.

Eula: Very very solid physical dps, people uhm and ahh about it because "physical pepega" but Pale Flame really shakes this up, along with enemy design being catered much more towards physical dps lately (yes, I'm fully aware that this will inevitably change, but we will likely never be in a situation where physical is entirely ineffective against anything.)

Xingqiu: Excellent 4-star, very easy to slot on pretty much any and all teams, massive amounts of damage and utility both, even has his favourite stick currently on the weapon banner.

Beidou: Excellent 4-star, very large amounts of burst Electro damage with her switch parries, and one of the stronger ultimates in he game particularly when faced with multiple targets, I'd say most people will have her favourite support partner in Fischl given that she has been featured on several banners and was of course once given for free, too.

Xinyan: Eh, definitely the odd one out here, obviously they wanted something to synergize with Eula, and she does provide both physical damage buffs and shred, definitely not a bad pick up for physical teams but can be replaced.

As for the weapon banner now.. I think the more important thing here is the 4-stars, since getting any specific 5-star has such hilariously low odds, non-whales should really only be rolling on weapon banners at all if most (if not all) of the 4-stars are highly appealing indeed.

Aquila Favonia: 2nd best option for physical Keqing, do not sleep on physical Keqing, reminder: Pale Flame exists now. I'm quite sure it's best-in-slot for Bennett, given how fat the stats are on it, and Bennett is arguably the best 4-star we have currently.

Song of Broken Pines: Actually kind of the odd one out here, probably best-in-slot for Eula, but difficult to find another place for it with our current roster.

Rust: Arguably ranked 4th or 5th best bows for Childe and Fischl, any 5-star should beat it, Viridescent Hunt beats it, Alley Hunter for Fischl specifically beats it, but certainly not a bad pick up at all.

Sacrificial Sword: As stated above, Xingqiu's favourite toy. Has a home on Qiqi too I believe? I don't own Qiqi though (still) so cannot personally confirm. But even just on Xingqiu alone it spikes his damage up immensely, not only does he almost always get his elemental skill twice (particularly at R4+ where the cooldown of the passive is shorter than his skill), but it also effectively doubles his energy regeneration, allowing him to drop ER in his build and slot in even more attack, absolutely fantastic weapon.

Sacrificial Codex: Sucrose's best friend. EM, additional elemental skill charges, more energy particles, pog. Admittedly it doesn't really have a home anywhere else (as far as I know), but even just on Sucrose alone much like Xingqiu with Sac Sword, it is extremely valuable.

Dragon's Bane: .. Oh boy did you sleep. It's an extremely strong option for Rosaria in her best teams, Xiangling also likes it, even Hu Tao can use it as a 4-star option, very good pick up and worth building into.

And finally, Rainslasher: .. Alright, fine, this one's pretty meh. There are definitely worse options for Beidou, but Beidou wants to be treated to a Serpent Spine really badly.. so.. ehh.. I'd say just get that and.. put Rainslasher in a picture frame on your wall, or something.. I don't know.

Alright, essay over. Did you make it this far? Anyone? Have any additional thoughts to share? Is any of my information objectively incorrect? Let me know, thanks. If I can be strictly proven wrong I will absolutely listen to the feedback.

  2. I'm loving Eula so far, her hits are disgusting at C0 with my R5 Gravestone. The only nitpicks are her animations. Going from neutral to her charge attack isn't smooth and auto attack 1 to 2 is a sudden body position change versus a smooth transition. Hope they can adjust that somehow or I just get over it.

  3. I have decided to invest a lot on Zhongli. A. Lot. Not because the damage he can deal per se, but because i loved his story and is the only narrative arch in GI that actually had a shed of soul in it, (aside for Venti's story), and not a single stupid timed challenged stuffed in it). Eula has 3 timed challenges that have NOTHING to do with her narrative arch, in the Dragonspine where you do NOT use her. Then after going through the hassle, there's the usual dungeon and i have ended up using Noelle because eula dealt no damage whatsoever in comparison. If i had any doubt about pulling for Eula, the trial and the story quest cleared them all with a big fat " hell no". So twice as happy to have depleted my primos on Zhongli banner, that also gave me a c20 Yanfei, lol. This aside, THANK YOU for your videos, always interesting and useful, i am still gratefull to your video about Tartaglia. 😀 Ps: Resistance of the Millelith is perfect as team support, not fot raw DPS damage for a main DPS. If there's a character in the team also equipping the Scholar artifac set ( recharge boost), that's it. EDIT: i keep dropping that dream solvent, but i need a prototype to finish the "festering fang" quest arrrrgh.
