  1. I feel like this game took the good things from Genshin that were fixed overtime, which is why i wouldn't be surprised if it performs better. I know im enjoying it more than genshin

  2. We are all burnt out on Genshin and the latest patches were some of the worst in the games history in terms of writing, copy-pasted desert zones and constant new male 5* banners. The last 5* female we got was dead on arrival Dehya who was so bad they dumped her into standard rather than fix her. Next new female banner is in 4.3 and it will be the Hydro Archon. They even screwed up with Lyney and Lynette by splitting them, making the male a 5* and the female a 4*. Enough is enough. Star Rail writing is top tier, the gameplay is fun, character designs are great and the future is looking good considering all the leaked characters we know about. It's a no brainer to jump ship.

  3. Game's amazing I'm not surprised in the slightest it's doing well. Not even that many characters in the game on release but the gacha is solid already. Hope it doesn't become too p2w in the future but highly likely tbh, at least the story is geared towards not needing to pull

  4. personally i doubt its going to pass genshin. Don't get me wrong HSR is a good game but its also turn based. Now I know that the turn based combat community is large but not as large as the action combat community. Its going to take something like wuthering waves to topple genshin and even thats a big maybe considering how much of a foothold genshin has right now

  5. It's a turn based but it's fun. Not just smashing buttons, I actually have to think when to use characters kits. A different experience than when in Genshin where you just follow team rotation.

If you want to reroll go for Bronya. Or Bailu if you want to be immortal. As like other Hoyoverse's games, going for support is always good for long term investment.

  6. Not really all that surprising since it's a brand new game from the makers of Genshin and Honkai Impact. Genshin is currently in one of its annual lull periods, too so the timing was great (and I doubt unplanned). Chances are ZZZ will surpass them all next year. Picking sides between Genshin or Star Rail is ludicrous since whichever side you're on Hoyoverse wins.

  7. yeah another normies drama …they cant comprehend any other genre than genshin lol..many normies are braindead lol..remember uma musume and i remember vividly, when ToF first released, they only play one hour and already summed up the combat system sucks lol..and not to mentioned the tons of "welcome home cheater" banner meme

  8. I think I saw some article somwhere that Genshin is just a testing ground for Hoyoverse/Mihoyo future games which means they do know what do players looking for and leverage all those learnings/feedback into newer games
Which is why new games is just getting better and better

  9. Here something that i think everyone can agree on. With the success of Star rail. I hope the company give back and even more to its community for this massive support. Unlike what happen in Genshi, even through they're under the same company. Me personally i want a 5star of my choice. Though i know Hoyovers and I am keeping my wallet on lock down, I haven't forgot how they treated Genshin players.

  10. Because Genshin is like a chewing gum you literally chewed for years = it doesn't taste anymore. Star Rail is hilarious, good written and paced. The character are looking way more advanced and detailed. Overall a better game. The only aspect missing is the open world. But what is an open world worth if it feels empty once discovered.

  11. Honestly this is Hoyo we’re talking about…they know how to make good games and market them out well enough to make a killing especially after Genshin did so well 2 1/2 years ago. Zenless is probably gonna do even better if it’s a good game as well.
