Vibrant Harriers Aloft in Spring Breeze Cutscene Animation: "Kites in the Wind" | Genshin Impact

It isn’t often that the air is filled with such joy, festive occasions like this being few and far between. Once the fireworks are over and the decorations packed away, who’s to say when we’ll all meet again?
If we could only ask the wind that blows before spring’s arrival, it might tell us when those that wander shall return once more, and how they’ll converse under another bright moon.

  1. Best lantern rite ever (I end up thinking that every year because of just how amazing they make it every year.) I specially love the cutscene. The performance and OST are mind blowing ❤❤❤ Happy Lantern Rite everyone ❤❤

  2. Bro, it went from happiness (because Qiqi and Yao Yao are so cute. 0:10) to chills from the drums and Gamings dance 1:00, to happiness again because I love Liyue and it's characters so much 2:40, then tears because of Gaming and his dad. 3:50

This video is a masterpiece brought before man, thank you hoyoverse. 🙇🙇🙇🙇💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🪿🪿🪿

  5. This year’s lantern rite is very very much relatable, especially for us (Asians). Most of us Asians usually owns a fine-established family business and we are told that we must continue their legacy instead of chasing our own dreams. Gaming’s lore does reflect how this matter happens in real life (creating cracks in the family and yes some of them chose to left their family). I hope this year’s lantern rite event could really reunite everyone’s family despite their different pov’s. Kudos to Hoyoverse for bringing this kind of plot to the game 🙌🏻

  6. This story probably resonates with many Chinese men (young or old), the story, relationship and problems between Gaming and his father are all to common in Chinese families. Really made me cry a bit. Glad they were able to work things out; if only his mother could have seen it 😢

As a Cantonese person, one line in his background story/lore I really liked was in Gaming's mother's letter to him, she used to say "I'd rather have given birth to a piece ot Char Siu than you…" (paraphrasing, don't have the game open in front of me) 😂 I'm sure many of us grew up hearing our mom say 生舊叉燒好過生你 😂

Gaming is easily one of my favourites now 😊
