Version 4.1 to 4.6 Banners Roadmap | EVERY FONTAINE CHARACTER Release Timeline – Genshin Impact

We’re just three days away from going to fontaine, and Hoyoverse revealed a lot of new characters in their recent version 4.0 trailer. This has sparked great excitement as the community eagerly awaits the new patch updates.

As you guys already know, lyney,Lynette and freminet are coming in the upcoming version 4.0 patch. So we don’t need to talk about them.
Let us start with characters already officially announced by hoyoverse.
According to HuutaoLover, version 4.1 banners will feature two 5-star characters: Wriothesley and Neuvillete.

Wriothesley is expected to be a cryo catalyst user. Now some of you guys might think, wriothesley is a polearm user, but that has been changed now. According to the latest information, wriothesley and Neuvillette both are catalyst users, who’ll be released in the upcoming 4.1 patch. About Neuvillette, he will be a hydro catalyst user.

Sigewinne was earlier expected to be on the same banner as these two, but it doesn’t seem like it now. Sigwinne is a four star hydro bow character and is expected to be playable in version 4.2. Instead, myrianelle a four star pyro character, is expected to be playable in 4.1. Some of you guys might know her as pyro goth girl.

Furthermore, the hydro arkon of fontaine fewreena, will get her banner in version 4.2. Other than her, no other five star character is expected to be released in version 4.2. The reason is pretty simple, we will have to wait for the arkon quest chapter four to be finished first before she gets a banner. It happened in sumeru also, when nahida got her banner in version 3.2 after the arkon quest was finished.

Another leaker, Uncle A, has claimed that Navia and Clorinde will be 5-star characters. These characters have been revealed in Overture Teaser A Final Feast and the 4.0 trailer as well, whereas the trailer has confirmed their high status and authority as a part of the Fontaine military.

Furthermore, Uncle A has important details about the upcoming rerun banners. Based on the recent leaks, only one 4 point X update will feature all rerun characters in their banners. After Hydro Arkon’s banner, no future banners will feature two new 5 star characters in one version update.

The next update is about Navia, she is expected to be released in version 4.3. She was earlier expected to be released in version 4.5 but it has been changed. I still believe that she will come around version 4.5 because she’s a geo character and is expected to be added to the standard banner in future. I don’t see hoyoverse putting two five stars consecutively on the standard banners.
In previous leaks, Arlechhino was rumored to debut in 4.3 banners.

However, a post from Keika has clarified that Arleckino’s banner has been postponed to the later half of Fontaine banners. Furthermore, he explains that this is due to her kit being based on Natlan’s gimmick. Current speculation suggests she might debut in version 4.6 update, because there are rumors going on that fontaine will have 7 patches only and so, 4.6 will be the last patch before natlan. But it’s heavily subject to change because i don’t see the reason why they would do this.
Rumors imply that version 4.4 will host the Lantern Rite and will feature Cloud Retainer’s debut.

Hutaolover’s other recent post also claims that other Liyue Harbor adeptus, Madame Ping and Guizhong, will also debut. This has raised excitement and speculations in the community. The most common speculation implies that either Guizhong or Madame Ping might join Cloud Retainer in 4.4 banners. This is all the information i could gather for you guys.

There are some other characters who are unannounced at the moment but will be playable in future. I didn’t mention anything about some of the four star characters because, there’s no saying when they’ll make which four character playable.
