  3. I have been a Yanfei main since I started playing 8 months ago and I don’t think I’ll change it until I get Haitham and other Sumeru characters lmao

    She’s so fun and easy to play tbh. I’m so happy I started with her as a beginner player. She still doesn’t have a decent goblet and circlet (substats are shit) but she hits 52k with the help of Bennett (thanks Bennett)

  4. Yay! An updated Yanfei guide! She part of my favorite team along with Yae Miko, Layla and Kuki. When Chevruesse came out I switch out Layla for her and it's been a blast (literally).

My very first 4* that i got (from wishing obviously) was Yanfie and the character i still use, i never left her eating dist in the character list i even pair her with my Hutao now for that 25% attack bonus and shild and long range pyro DPS if needed, and bro…… She is really fun for me, i have C6 she was my first C6 character as well for some reason.
    I need better artifacts for her though 💀

    Also, I have built her as a hybrid of both play styles, although she does lack dkne CR in my case.

I have a couple of five star DPS characters that have more complicated playstyle or require more investment which is why I always come back to Yanfei due to how easy and comfortable she is to use. I had recently got Neuvi’s signature weapon and Furina and she’s much more powerful now. I cannot count how much she’s saved me in some difficult contents. I also enjoy how some patches gave me more options to play her. When Sumeru came along, I used her as burgeon trigger and now that Fontaine is here, she’s powerful with Furina. I’m excited how I’ll be able to play her with new changes in the future.

  12. My yanfei is triple crowned ❤ I love catalysts and the pyro element is very strong. I didn’t realize how few people have her built, she’s really fun to play and is surprisingly versatile with c4! I think my favorite thing about her is the reduced stamina with the seals up, it REALLY makes a difference with ease of gameplay especially as a charged-attack focused catalyst.

  15. As a Yanfei main it brings me joy to see an updated guide and her getting some love and attention again. She was my first dps from day 1 and is still my go-to dps for anything non-pyro-related. Currently my only triple-crowned character, I hope she gets on a banner soon so I can finally get c6.

  19. I have been using Yanfei as my go-to Pyro DPS for quite a while. It does take a while to learn the arc of her attacks and the art of "running and gunning". However, it was well worth building her and she is one of three characters I have currently assigned crowns to.

  20. Yanfei was my second ever triple crowned character and I still use her every day!! I don’t use her in abyss anymore, but she’s my go to for most bosses and domains <3

  21. Thank you for the updated guide! I usually use her as shielder and healer for lyney but i also want to try using her as dps because she looks fun to play fortunately i have good hydro units for her. I just need a good artifact for her and level up her talents.
