Childe is amazing. riptide is broken, amazing burst damage, and great hydro application which makes him an excellent enabler (and having good AoE dps).
also i cover new weapons (polar star, thundering pulse, as well as a weapon ranking) and the new artifact set (Shimenawa’s Reminiscence).

  1. Im still in shock at how satisfying the clip at 1:27 is lmao.
    *Specification regarding double swirl Guoba tech : to swirl guoba's pyro infusion you want to NA on sucrose then E : Sucrose NA (prior to guoba exclamation mark) then E to swirl both. Sucrose's NA will swirl hydro then her E will swirl pyro from Guoba. So Sucrose NA-E. Showcase here: https://streamable.com/a0ofkl (removed the old showcase clip as i didn't NA)

    edit: to answer the question, Yes, you can ranged burst -> e with Shimanewa to proc the set effect, BUT that does not change the fact that it'll make your rotation cost more energy/worse, because: : 40 energy is something you can realistically generate in a rotation (60 – 20 u g et refunded), if you run Shimenawa you need to generate 55 (60 – 20 + another 15) which isn't realistic unless you have quite a few ER substats, which equates to less DPS overall. The energy loss is STILL significant and everything I said about that set is still accurate. Could've went into a bit more detail though. Set not bad overall, esp for fireworks team tho.

  5. I tested Childe in domains with level 90 rust and maxed out artifacts. He's only at level 55 but he's doing great. 2k damage from his skill is okay. If I maxed him out, I believe he'll get stronger.

  14. just got childe yesterday did not want but i like him although i only have prototype bow for him and he is still at lvl 48 since i was just saving up for pity and didn't prepare exp books my 2nd 5 star character i still want hu tao tho because i dont have pyro except for amber and xiangling and im still at AR 33 and farming primos for hu tao since pity got reset
