Genshin Impact version 4.5 is just around the corner and version 4.6 new character drip marketing is expected to be officially announced on Monday March 11, 2024.
The game developer has also officially announced the 5-star characters that will be featured in the 4.5 character banners, as well as the new banner type “Chronicled Wish” during the version 4.5 special program livestream that was broadcast a few days ago.

We won’t go into the details of how this new banner works since we covered that in the last video, Instead, in this video, we’ll be talking about the characters that will be featured in the version 4.5 and 4.6 chronicled wish banner.
The game developer has announced that only event-exclusive 5-star characters who have previously appeared in the Character Event Wish 1 or 2 at least three times, and have not been featured in recent Event Wishes, will be featured in the Chronicled Wish banner, but the criteria for determining which characters are considered “featured in any recent Event Wishes” is unclear.
It is not specified whether the characters were last got a rerun prior to version 4.0 or how many versions must pass before the characters could be featured in this new banner.
If we take a look the Version 4.5 chronicled wish character banner, we can identify Albedo, Klee, and Eula as the event-exclusive characters, with Mona, Diluc, and Jean being the non-event exclusive characters.
This indicates that the chronicled wish character banner will feature three event-exclusive characters (limited banner) and three non-event exclusive characters (standard banner).
and also it is highly likely that this new banner will be updated with each new version, so, in version 4.6, the chronicled wish banner may feature different characters compared to version 4.5.
When considering the criteria for characters to be featured in the upcoming version 4.6 chronicled wish banner, Ganyu an Kokomi are the only possible candidates, If one of the conditions is the characters who had a rerun before version 4.0.
However, if we assume that what is meant by “have also not appeared in any recent Event Wishes” is let’s say 3 versions before the current chronicled wish banner in that particular version (before 4.3), then there is a possibility that some of these characters could also appear in the version 4.6 chronicled wish banner.
and for the non-event exclusive characters (standard banner), three of the four character above will highly likely be featured in the version 4.6 chronicled wish banner.
Shenhe may not be included in the upcoming version 4.6 chronicled wish banner, as she has only been featured twice in character event wishes thus far.
However, there is a possibility that she will be featured in the usual double banners in version 4.6, It has been a considerable amount of time since her last rerun, and she has recently received a new outfit, Therefore, it is reasonable to expect that she will receive a rerun this time around.
But before you pull these banners in version 4.5, please note that several sources have indicated that one of the highly anticipated character Arlecchino is rumored to be the new 5-star character for version 4.6.

the rumor said her playstyle is referenced to Lady Maria from Bloodborne.. maybe in charge attack, she'll stab herself with the polearm and take it out again, with the blood covering on the polearm, she'll make a scythe with it..(just speculation)

Doesn't convince me. The character itself looks bad, nothing impressive, Genshing characters in general need visual upgrades. The scythe weapon and health sucking thing, that is really cool, one of my favorite things, the other would be summoning monsters but current summoned monsters are LAME, I would like a Dark Panther, Tiger or demon of some kind. I think people would go crazy for shit like this. The kit? It is not an a archon and not a subdps, not even a support like Kazuha, so dot really impressive. I prefer to have the future Pyro archon than miss him for some random character "that is the most strong dps" whatever, they were all the "most strong".
Clorinde might be interesting, I have to see if she is strong like Yelan, if she is, then I will wish for her, otherwise keep saving for Pyro archon.

If the artefacts will work on pyro character who uses overload and vaporize, my Diluc will use them too, no problem… as long as I know exactly what they do.
