The most recent addition to the standard banner is Dehya, in Version 3.6, Dehya was one of the highly-anticipated characters but she was run into the ground by Hoyoverse. A long time ago, there were speculations that the number of characters in the standard banner will increase to 9, and the same speculator correctly guessed the 3.5 banners with 100% accuracy. Currently, the number of 5-stars in the standard banner is 7, Jean, Diluc, Keqing, Mona, Qiqi, Tighnari, and Dehya, therefore, we can expect them to add 2 of the Fontaine characters to it. Let’s see who are potential candidates that can added to the standard——

Among the information shared, we have been told that Wriothesley will be a 5-star character, according to a reliable source on Twitter. The speculation compilation also includes information that Wriothesley will become a 5-star character in the standard banner pool, much like Dehya. It also seems like he will be released in Version 4.1. Because of the way he handles his drink in the Overture teaser trailer, there have been speculations that he is blind, however, the majority of the community don’t support this theory and that it’s just rumours. Wriothesley is a strong candidate for the standard banner in my opinion. There’s been rumours that Neuvillette will also be added to the standard banner, however, this seems unlikely to me because he has a major role in the Fontaine hierarchy, and surely Hoyo wouldn’t put 2 characters in the standard banner at the same time.——

The candidate that could go in the standard banner is Navia, who wore a Geo vision in the Overture teaser trailer, confirming that she will be released as a playable unit. It is also speculated that she will likely be a 5-star character, which means she can potentially become the first 5-star Geo female character in the game. On a related note, Genshin Impact has not released a 5-star Geo unit since version 2.3’s Arataki Itto. Her release is speculated to be in 4.5. She could potentially become the first Geo 5-Star on the Standard Banner in Genshin Impact.—

I feel like having 2 standard banners would definitely be better in the long run now… if the rumours of even 2 maybe 3(?) whole 5* characters to be added to the standard banner are true, it's just going to add up to too many. I would absolutely love to get more new characters, but it becomes even more impossible to get specific ones (I still don't have a few standards after being month 1 player). it would make sense to add new ones, on the condition that another permant banner comes out

  20. They say Navia has ability to fly like wanderer with her umbrella. Also, unlike sumeru we wont get new element like dendro. Then, they should buff or make major change in some element types. Buffing geo or physical dmg will work to have more fun of the game so I dont personally think Navia will get Dehya treatment. I think second character will be someone we havent seem yet, maybe chiori the girl who made kiraras dress

  31. Wriothesley is reading documents, while trying to find the handle for the tea cup. And people have a theory he is blind?…

    Im only worried if he is Dehya level or is actually useful. It wont matter because with the luck i have on the 50/50, i am 100% garanteed to get him eventually.

    But they should do a solid to the community and let players choose the 5 star after a certain amount of pity.

  35. Standard Banner is a load of rubbish. I mean…its now 1/17 chances to get Dehya or Jean which are the ones I'm after, and not yet another Keqing/Mona copy or some dumb 5* weapon. The additions will make it even worse.

  40. my candidate of 5 star adding to standard banner was sigewinne, navia, (clorinde?), neuvillete(highly not possible to add), Wriothesley and Chiori(the inazuman character who stay in fontaine due to business) if she is not a 4 star
