I've always gotten a laugh out of the term homophobic. Fear of gay people? ^SIGH^ Trust me, nobody is scared of you. That aside, i'm still trying to figure out why people think Sara is a lesbian. Why do people automatically assume that any strong female character must be gay? There is one comment by Sara that pretty much shatters the lesbian theory.

Ok…I'm legit part of the LGBTQ community and even I can't condone this crap. There is literally nothing in the lore saying that Itto is gay and Sara is a lesbian. Do I have my own headcanon's about them being that way? Sure..of course I do, but they could be straight too and I'm ok with people shipping them together. It's kind of a cute rivals to lovers dynamic that straight people would enjoy, but it's not my thing. I don't understand this gatekeeping, especially when there is nothing to back it up in canon.

This is just like The mha fandom all over again, why is it that everytime that someone shipped two opposite gender characters people starts accusing this person a "homophobe". Can't they just let them ship whoever they want cause people have different opinions.
a lot of the ships i find cute aren't really straight (beidou and ningguang, jean and lisa, ect) but if someone ships someone else i'm not gonna start arguing with them?? only instance i would get annoyed at a straight ship in any kind of media is if the character was, for example, confirmed to be lesbian but being shipped with a man anyways.
Just let people enjoy their headcanons… like getting called homophobic for liking straight ships is pretty bad but like?? There’s just as many reasons that a character could be gay as there are reasons they could be straight don’t act like someone saying they think a character is gay is the end of the world???? Straight people wanna be oppressed so bad istg

People can ship who they want to ship, as long as it isn’t illegal. And they also gotta realize that their ships aren’t facts, only headcanons. And I don’t get why some people hate on other ships just because they’re straight, not everyone has to be gay. Let people ship who they ship, end of discussion.
