  1. This games looks awesome honestly. One of the biggest drawbacks to Genshin imo is that I can't create my own character so I'm definitely looking forward to Tower of Fantasy

  2. tower of fantasy will surely be a hit specially to people who had lost interest in genshin's many many cons like endgame content, repetitiveness, stingyness, low gacha chance, banner handling and many more. mihoyo will have to up their game even if it means losing their pride cause things are looking bad for them specially that nee characters are so so and the old popular characters gheyre holding leverage for the fanbase is just at a corner. kazuha hutao ahem. i wonder what would mihoyos next move be.

  4. The only issue i have with this game is that it's co-developed under Tencent. Coming from playing Dragon Raja (which is also an mmorpg open world game created by them) im having ptsd from the way they handled the pvp (absolutely horrendous) and story building aspect. I'm hoping the lore will be somewhat better than dragon raja that literally made the mc basically a useless errand person and doesnt make you feel like you're the main character. so sad. The way Tencent made the DR world was stunning, and the housing system was one of the best out there… but all the bad outweighed the good that it made me drop it and go stay with genshin – and it's been 2 years since then. I'm really hoping that at the very least, this game will be much better because i wanna play it so bad.

  5. I play Genshin specifically for the characters, lore, and story so having personalization for my own unique character has never really been important to me. Also, I've invested so much time and money into Genshin that if I were to switch now I would have to face the fact of just how much I've wasted on Genshin. I feel like Mihoyo really lucked out here because not many people are going to be willing to trade-off for a new game after all the money and grind they put into their accounts. That being said, what I do like about Tower of Fantasy here is the ability to have different modes of travel (I understand not having a car since the time period in Genshin isn't modern, but Mihoyo could at least give us some sort of beast to ride around since horses clearly don't exist either). Also, I like Tower of Fantasy's art style. It's a lot more refined compared to Genshin. As of right now, I don't see myself starting Tower of Fantasy though, but maybe in the future when I'm finished up with Genshin.

  6. Thank you for this! I was thinking to download ToF but I'm still doubting whether it's worth to share some of time with..
This video helped me a lot. I'll be playing it once it's officially released!

  7. Honestly the only 2 differences with these 2 is that they are open world anime styled games

Genshin casuals and waifu collecters won't be switching to this, but the people who have been screaming for end game and content and things to do probably will.
And hopefully this will cause mhy to do something about there own game, they seem to scared of change

  8. Tower of fantasy seems to be a wonderful game, definitely genshin similar but kinda unique, a perfect way to distract yourself from genshin as a late game player. Can't wait for the game to be out,

  9. Character creation is kind of lame. Reason we like xiao, ayaka, shenhe is because they’re not just nameless NPCs, but characters we get to know about and play with. Biggest draw back I see to tower of fantasy is the lack of individualistic characters. Everyone’s running around in the world with their own custom built character, so who is MC? What is MCs story?

  10. Not sure why my comment didn't go through previously, but this game is an MMO so the systems in place are very different from Genshin and is geared (especially in the endgame) towards CO-OP play and multiplayer. It may feel lonely at first, but it's far from that because of the deep multiplayer aspect

  11. I love Genshin. But I played it toooo much. I burned myself out and haven't returned sence. Like.. I collected all possible things on the starting zone/ map within 2-3 days. Secret chests and things. And it was at the beginning of the game. No new updates, new areas and bosses and events.
Everyone, who sees this comment. Pls do play on your own pace and take time. Do not rush, just enjoy the game and story. This is amazing game with amazing artstyle and cool lore.

  12. Incredible review that hit some of my most important questions, especially some of the smaller details. I’ll happily be a fan of both games. A well earned sub, thank you for the fantastic content.

  13. If you’ve been playing genshin 1 month after launch there isnt much to do on a daily basis like literally once resin is finished within 15 – 30 minutes there isn’t anything to do lmao

  14. Well, for me a game doesnt have to be better than genshin to make me play it, gacha rpg that is
There things we need in genshin that tof has and thats enough for me

  15. i said it a million times before and ill say it again while very similar graphics wise they different games in overall . yes both are gachas but from what ive seen until now TOF gacha is already 3X times better than genshins also genshin is like a great side dish to a main course fianlly TOF is coming out so once you finish your dailies and resin in genshin you are good to go and play main game. TOF is coming in a great time when genshin players getting tierd and on the other side BLUE PROTOCOL is still far away from release so its perfect timing. i planning on playing both period. and im pretty sure i know what im talking about being an AR59 almost 60 genshinplayer.

  16. So I've been trying the CN version for 3 days. What I can say is ToF's animation and environment aren't as polished as Genshin that's for sure. For example, if you slow walk, you can see the feet slide slightly forward on the ground, hence the "floaty" feel. Enemy knockback animation are those typically MMO-esq: repetitive, and slightly stiff to my taste. Environment and interactables models aren't as refined. However the game as an MMO is quite fun to play. It has better end game naturally as an MMO, as well as better multiplayer gameplay like dungeons, raids, boss battle etc. Imo this is a very good choice to play alongside Genshin.

  17. I already got all the characters that I need to 36* the abyss so now I'm just gonna chill and play Genshin for the story. With that being said I have decided to stop buying BP and welkin, instead I will spend my money on ToF to summon for SSR weapons. ToF wants me to play more while Genshin wants me to play less. It's a perfect balance between the 2 games.
