I still don't understand the narrative that just because he'll be on standard means you'll get him at some point (unless your a whale). You literally have no guaranteed way to get him aside from this banner cause he'll always compete with multiple 5 stars on a that drop chance.

Charging money for a standard unit banner is pretty sheisty but as we know with Mihoyo they will do anything they know customers will pay for. That’s why we haven’t seen them do anything about all the things players hate, because people will pay no matter what so why should they. I’m more excited for Collei than him since I read the comics and she’s free so I’ll probably just save for Nilou…a month dendro character. I’m feeling like this update will not be as hype as hoped for in terms of the element (exploration should still be good but that doesn’t last) and they will have to hamfist some mechanics into the game to make people use dendro similar to how they tried to make healers required with corrosion damage.
I' ll still pull for him, the kit IS boring compared to other units, but I like the confusion mechanic, I feel like it' s very good, since it also affects enemies like the heralds and lectors
He' s a very simple unit but he' s not really bad, I feel like his damage will not be terrible, we' ll have to see in game, he definitely looks like a single target ganyu (which is still really strong all things considered)
I think people will need to judge him like childe he's very team and reaction dependant, his power will be entierly based on how strong dendro and electro is
If I were to use the two new dendro characters in a team what would be some other good character to put in the team with them?
He looks boring but… I wouldn’t write him off just yet. His confusion mechanic or whatever it’s called needs further testing. If the enemies can’t attack you, you wouldn’t need a healer or shielder. That might be his gimmick. If it works on larger enemies, could be very useful. 100% uptime on his confusion E skill too.
I was planning on pulling on his banner and maxing him but since hes standard theres no way i will spend a single primo on him 🥲. I feel like he lacks AoE, he has okay damage but only against a single enemy.
Will Dehya be a 5* or 4*?
i think u underestimate dendro reactions , give it a bit of time. also his bow will help a lot, not f2p ofc.they want you to mix EM into these builds , so just like we use EM sands for sure instead of atk i guess or soemthing similar, EM is the new atk lol.
Isn’t yelan partially hydro ganyu? Well as for tighnari it’s a clear no from me. I hate his design plus one day I’ll loose my 50/50 to him so no thank you

about tinghari, 3:1 ratio to not pull, utility which showing sumeru specialties is nice, but not must so yeah

I'm getting him, because even if he does become standard banner slash lost 50/50… he's one of six, and he'll probably never be featured on the feature banner again. All that means is that you are not guaranteed to get him.
That said, you have to remember that Ganyu is Cryo. Tighnari is Dendro with a new reaction scheme, one of them amps damage. He was not going to be OP broken on his own if the dendro reaction with electro, and its sub-reaction, do additional damage. Add to that, the reaction with pyro is DOT. He produces enough dendro to trigger these reactions. With 40 Energy cost on his burst that produces a sum total of 12 bolts, 6 main, 6 secondary… he does 600% with the main, on a single target, and 732% on the secondaries at tier 10. That's not TOO bad.
I will be running him with an electro, a hydro, and likely a pyro to have all the Dendro reactions in one place. I would probably try Tighnari/Lisa/Thoma/Kokomi. Lisa because Tighnari's skill IS a taunt while Lisa's lantern wants to scatter them. My Thoma is actually quite good. Emblem of Severed Fate, full HP, Black Tassel, his resetting shield allows Yoimiya to face-tank the Thunder Manifestation's tracking attack outright, as long as she's firing. And it produces blasts of pyro which will trigger Burning. As for Kokomi? Self-explanatory, rather nice hydro application.
I think his build needs to be ATK/Crit R/Crit DMG/EM. Notice his Burst is 40 energy! That's kind of nothing. I don't think he needs much ER. Now whether you spec him into main-stat EM or not… that's what depends, I should think. I would probably get him a standard crit circlet, and then see what I roll in terms of EM on his substats.
PLEASE STOP COMPARING HIM TO GANYU. Even tho they both use charged attacks, they have different elements and different elemental bursts that different their play styles a lot. Ganyu has quadratic scaling on her burst, so she's very good with venti, and has access to melt reaction. She really wants to stay on field to do her charged attacks. Tighnari, instead, is a quickswap character: he just does E, Q and 3 charged attacks that are very fast. Also, he will be mostly played with electro sub-dpses like fischl or yae Miko because of how quicken works. If u don't know how dendron reactions work, then you can't say if he's gonna be bad or not. He's not even fully released yet, so something can still change and we won't be able to judge him until then. The worst thing tho is comparing him to ganyu. Their play styles are more different than you may think.
From what I've seen the math nerds say both him and Collie are just bad, And Collie especially even at c6 she's just mid. But this all pre release thoughts to be fair

im sure when making him, they knew he’d be added to the standard banner, so they didnt make him super good to make the future limited 5 star dendro characters look less appealing.
Hoyo won't make another Ganyu for sure–
He’s gonna be a Dendro Ningguang. His main source of damage (his CAs) are all single target which means he’s gonna be closer to Yoimiya than Ganyu
Dendro + electro will give effective multipler, which compliment the low multipler and reward high frequency hits. HOWEVER, he will in standard banner and this will make MHY limit his upper sealing.
NGL, his exploration passive of showing Sumeru resources on the map makes me want to pull for him 😅

He's probably ok on single target. Maybe bad in hordes of enemies coz of how his arrows gonna split kinda like how ningguang is(?). Signature bow ensures each split does reasonable dmg tho so that's that.
it's easy for me. i don't like his kit, I don't like his look. One of the Easiest skip I ever had in this game

He'll be pretty mediocre. His overall high multipliers are split between small numbers so it's not possible to get big spread numbers. Either way I'm actually happy that we can already tell he is not going to be op. We still need to figure out dendro reactions. Ig with future characters he'll be better. Looking forward to lose 50/50 to him soon lol.
I pretty much agree with this vid, tignari is prob a good unit, but prob wont be breaking any records, im thinking since we get a free colei & dendro traveler i cam use them to figure out wat dendro is all about, also as c-4 qiqi haver im hoping that tignari will pop up wen i lose my 50/50 in the future instead of qiqi.

Lol this summer event and those annoying ass puzzles irritated me like no tmr. Even if Dendro comes out, I wouldn't care at all. When I was a noob, I thought they were just making these puzzles because they were just starting out but now I know better. They even copied that gear game from somewhere and its 100% identical to it. I just don't remember the name of the game but that's shameless as fk. Who copies a game and put it inside another game and nobody; I mean nobody even mentioned this like it's totally OK just to take another game. Over my 1.5 years of playing this game. I would name this game "Dialogue/Puzzle Impact". That name is the most accurate way to describe it because it's all puzzles and dialogue. If there's a story where nothing happens then it's plain dialogue. Honkai Impact is a story about Honkai but Genshin is a story about nothing.

Let's talking about cryo character, does everyone think Qiqi Is the worst 5 star character than Keqing? Qiqi can't do much Cyro Dps than Keqing much Electro dps. What I suggest is there's any one one five star Inazuma character gonna be standard banner?
