  1. I truly wish they'd stop hiring indie North American voice actors for what is a multimillion dollar game at this point.

Tighnari's English voice actor has six or seven recorded roles across his filming career with limited anime experience, where as his Japanese voice actress has over 41 well reputed anime roles under her belt.

It honestly is lazy hiring, much like the voice acting itself, overly high pitched (and a little nasally because of it in places) and it feels very forced; it's no sleight against the voice actor himself, everyone has to start somewhere, but I thought we were done getting English voices like Razor and Chongyun.

Despite enjoying the character's gameplay style of quick aim shots, the voice acting makes me not want to pull for him; which doubly stinks since I want to c6 my Fischl and Diona.

I'm sure I'll learn to live with it, but still, it's pretty darned saddening compared to the amazing job the Japanese voice actress performed.

  2. One of those rare moments, when I find English voice more fitting, then Japanese one. English voice sound like mature, knowledgeable and experienced ranger, while japanese one sounds a bit too young. Not that bad, but doesn't really fit him IMO.
