NEW Edit: Noblesse Oblige 4-set is decent on him – but at this point you don't need to be told because it's a set that basically works on almost any support. (It's a highly situational set that depends on your team and you usually equip on a character that has best position in rotation to give the boost to everyone) In Hu Tao team – it can be either Thoma/Xingqiu, in Mono Pyro – it's usually Benny.
Edit: Forgot to include Skyward Spine in weapons T_T It's a good alternative if you can't get your hands on Favonius Lance/The Catch.

This review is a bit too generous for Thoma. I really don't see much value in him if you have Bennett. I can see some niche applications like Hu Tao, (assuming you don't want to heal her) but otherwise his C6 is still gimped compared to C0 or C1 Benny. At the very least, his C6 should be a flat attack boost like Bennett. I'm very underwhelmed by this and other recent 4-star additions like Kujou Sara. Bennett, Xingqiu, and Xiangling just set the bar too high. Everything else is pretty crappy, and you basically just deal with these 4-stars until you can get copies of the good ones I just mentioned.
I use thoma with beido since i lost my 50/50 to keqing… Anyways so beido's ulti applies constant electro damage and thoma's ulti does the same thing too. So yeah constant pyro and electro and overload damage, 3 in 1 idk if its good or nah but it works pretty well for me

I now have a c1 Hu Tao with staff of homa and a c5 Thoma but unfortunately I'm still stuck in liyue so I Thoma will be lvl 40 for a while
i absolutely LOVE Thoma so so so much and i am even happy with my c0 thoma even tho i would've loved to fully max his constels

My yanfei is fragile as all hell and I couldn't get her c4, I really need Thoma to help her out with that lol

WOW HE IS EPIC in these super niche teams which can be replaced by a better unit like Zhongli or Diona. Stop clickbaiting. Thoma is B tier at best his shield is ok but thats it, he only becomes meta in a specific hutao team and nowhere else, his damage is awful his utility is only his shield which no one needs since everybody already got diona which is the best 4 star shielder/healer in the game.
The kitain cross spear works on Thoma pretty well that's what I'm doing and it is working well
since the release of Inazuma Characters i feel like their basic attack recoveries are much smoother and faster than previous characters…

i ended up pulling 5 copies in my 160 pull soree for Hu Tao. i wasn't thinking about him initially but he's a great shielder. swapped diona out for him and im doin great!
