  1. There is a small sequel to this where you have to go to that place with a clock upside down and there's a roundtable, there you will see the mechanical dog and the small oceanid.

  3. For anyone confused, here's a tl;dr of all the Fontaine lore quests:

The Narzissenkreuz Institute was an orphanage with many child prodigies. It was run by the Director, who was an Oceanid. Many famous people from Fontaine's lore are from here, such as Basil Elton, Emanuel Guillotin, and Karl Ingold (who all have a complicated history with each other that I won't get into here). Alain, Mary-Ann, Rene, and Jakob were among the last generation of the orphanage because it was destroyed during the great calamity 500 years ago. Durring this terrible crisis, Basil Elton, who's the vice-director at this time, gets Emanuel Guillotin to adopt Alain and Mary-Ann while giving Rene and Jakob to Karl Ingold. Basil then dies while taking down the beast Elynas.

Some time later, Karl, and his kids Jakob, and Rene, take an expidition to the desert, where they deduce the world-formula, essentially predicting that Fontaine will undergo another apocalypse in the future. Jakob also gets very sick on this trip, and Rene uses the powers of the Abyss to save him, but alterd Jakob into a super-human.

Around that same time, Alain Guillotin starts doing research at the Fontaine Institute of Natural Philosophy, along with another member from their old orphanage named Carter Scherbius. They're researching Khaenri'ahn machines, and Elain eventually invents the first Fontaine Meka. Carter notes that Alain doesn't get to spend a lot of time with his sister, so he should try to make a thinking machine to record the time they spend together to make her happy, but Alain thinks it's pointless. Carter also starts to get very sick with health issues.

When Rene and Jakob get back from the desert, Alain also gets them to join his research team. The 4 of them, along with Mary-Ann, are all great friends at this point. But Rene and Jakob, preparing for the apocalypse, secretly research Elynas's dead body, and note that it has strange effects on Jakob. Rene also discovers how serious Carter's condition is, and to save him, he tries to use the same powers of the Abyss that he used to save Jakob. It doesn't work, and Carter becomes a disturbing abomination. Alain finds out and severs ties with Rene and Jakob. This is when, to honor Carters memory, he creates Carter's thinking machine dog, named Seymour, for Mary-Ann.

To deal with their prophesied apocalypse, Rene and Jakob establish the Narzissenkreuz Ordo to deal with saving Fontaine by any means necessary. They descover the Primordial Waters and realize they can all merge into a single consciousness in order to servive the upcoming apocalypse. Rene decides he will be the first test subject, and disolves himself into an Oceanid. More people are desolved, including the abomination of Carter as a final twisted act of mercy, and the Oceanid becomes known as "the Master".

The Master tries to get Alain to join his consciousness by telling him why they're doing all this, but Alain refuses. Eventually, there's a fight inside Elynas's body between the Narzissenkreuz Ordo and the Marechaussee Phantom, which Alain and Mary-Ann have joined at this point. Alain defeats the Master, Jakob goes missing, Mary-Ann dies, and Seymour was damaged.

Later in his life, Alain invents the Arkhe system (pneuma and ousia), creating a stable energy source for Fontaine, and founds the current Fontaine Research Institute. Later, there are legends that Alain created a real thinking machine for his sister (Seymour), but Alain never comments on this. Later in his life, Alain retired to his workshop to work on a secret project, but no one ever discovered what he was working on.

  6. I already new it was going to loop before going in – I circled it probably 15 times or so just to see if there was some kind of difference each time. The crabs were interesting to watch. I was hoping for an achievement if i did it 10 times or something. And even after that i went backwards a other number of times to see if that was any different 😅

Also, id send the elevator down but stay up top so i vould see each floor it would loop tou through when the trigger point is activated interesting to see.
