  1. I agree with the live stream taking place at the same time, however, I don’t agree with the patch updates happening all at once. At least not for now. It’s not just flipping a switch. It takes a lot of planning behind the scenes as well as testing. As a project manager, just thinking through how they release the patches, these are big files we are talking about and I’m assuming that MHY has servers all over the country to help with throttling. If they did it all at once, what happens if there was a failure and the whole system goes down? Now no one has access to the game and it could take several hours to get it back up and running. Having it done in cycles ensures that if there’s a blackout on one server, it doesn’t affect the rest of them. It gives devs time to fix any coding issues before moving onto the next launch cycle. Idk. I don’t think I’m explaining myself well because I’m not too technical, but I’ve seen businesses on the IT side completely shut down for days because of a roll out being planned poorly. Maybe they could cut the 12 hour time to 4 hrs or 8 hrs? But there needs to be downtime to make sure you’re catching issues before the next patch uploads. If they do patch uploads all at once for Honkai then MHY does have the capability and I’ll back down, but from an outside perspective those are some concerns that come to mind. Otherwise, I’m in agreement with you! Love the content and can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the next patch!

  2. I also think releasing the patch later ruins a lot of hype for en players, i mean especially this update: some people may consider coming back to the game to see inazuma, but if the patch drops 12h later, why would they do that if they can just watch a youtube video showing everything, ykwim?

  3. If the biggest flaw genshin had was patch release times, then we would be in some dreamland. Their communication is quite awful in my opinion, trying to create FOMO for the gacha's sake, except they don't give roadmaps on the non-monetized stuff either.

  4. I mean. I find it nice that the live streams are synced up. But technically en and cn are getting the updates at the same time. That time is probably the time most players log in to play.

  5. Syncing releases for all three servers, whether it is banners or events, poses one issue: players could unfairly have less time than others to roll or do the event because of how time zones line up.

  6. Mihoyo does not give a damn about the EN audience. If they did we wouldn't have to deal with Chinese censorship and we wouldn't have them straight up cancel EN events and then reward the CN audience (HI3).

  7. If they cant do it simultaneously why not just do it after the CN patch release update? I see a lot of live championships in mobile (CODM) where english and other languages do their live simultaneously but some have like a 5-10 minute delay or 30 minute delay. I wish they can do that instead. Mihoyo has a lot to improve but I do know they are listening so fingers crossed 🤞

  8. I couldn’t agree more. It sucks that we en player have to wait 12hr after patch I hope en player make a stand. It’s bad for content creator that doesn’t have a cn account to put out video. At least if they let us switch server, and not permanently stuck in one server without creating a new account, would be nice

  9. Can we get contents like weekly commisions , artifact set up swaps , convert 30 resin for 10 primogems or something like that , endless survival mode with bigger rewards the longer game goes , permanent multiplayer minigames with rewards
