There's a Mountain near the top of of Sumeru that leads into a Desert space, but gets cutoff by the Border.
Theoretically might be a connection point to Natlan, but I assume it'll be another chunk of Sumeru's Desert.

sumeru is easily the best region so far, the exploration is more fun, the aranara world quests actually impact the land compared to Inazuma. Its also really bright and just brings a breath a fresh air!
Can't wait for the other regions ๐
yeah the total size of Sumeru will be as big as Liyue since they can expand the upper part of the desert, add another area near the Blackcliff Forge, and extend a bit of land next to Qiaoying Village before introducing Fontaine

There is a new area up north with likely a celestial nail and later probably a huge open desert next to Natlan and lose about Stanley and the vortex in the ashen sea.

There is that big ass tornado in the north part of the desert that I am "anxious" to go and visit.
sumeru really shows off how good HYV is now with developing the open world; better wildlife, massive locations with undergrounds essentially bigger than the chasm & world quests.. insane stuff!! i can't wait for 3.3 to get us a new expansion to sumeru
The desert is my most hated region lol, I just hate it, the vibe of it and everything is so bad to me.
As Hoyoverse budget grows, regions get bigger and bigger. When Inazuma launched it was a breath of fresh air. And now with Sumeru they have gone even further. Itโs great to see the development of the map is progressing and getting better over time!
Here I'm thinking how are they going to do Fontaine
i love how the theres 8 civilizations filed with diverse npcs. they have different skins, bodies, and faces. some are mad while others are sad. the environment is breathtaking. theyโve improved a lot, mondstadt looks like crap compared to sumeru.

Maybe west of Lost Nursery and somewhere like Enkanomiya (Maybe the place we saw the Irminsul tree?)
I think the new sumeru area will be that one place up north where there's like an eternal sand tornado.

The map keeps expanding to the southwest. In the interactive map, it kinda looked like a–
I believe there's enough of those sigils to get you to level 40 cause i can reach level 37 with the leftovers i have and I haven't found all the chests yet.
Hope they increase the limit next update even if theres no new area.

Even after doing all of what the main story has, the main side quest for the desert and exploring the ruins… the underground sections of the main Pyramid are insane i still am going through them finding new sections and collecting seals and getting more clearance. A fun time indeed for if you just want to explore, and desert and Egyptian themes are one of my favorites and it is nailed here, same with the forest. I liked Inazuma but no where near as much as Sumeru, which I been hyped for since the manga. Have not enjoyed exploring this much since Dragonspine and Ekonomiya, or hell even Liyue.
Me: Let's go level up the tree with these 169 dendro sigils I have and get some fates! ๐

Sumeru is the best region it has the best characters story quests (except for Tighnari's โ ๏ธ)there archon is so cute,caring and intelligent so far Nahida and her nation>>>>>

I think inazuma was best. I love the vibe there and i like the fact that it's not walk in the park. Puzzles were great too. Sumeru is too easy.
I like sumeru but I don't like the underground area which is they don't have map like the chasm underground, so I easily get lost in sumeru underground because no map and sometimes I don't have any clue if I already been there or not, too much cave, so I still choose inazuma as my favorite, much better and easy for exploration

idk if it's just me but Sumeru is really cool but I'm kinda getting tired of these caves and shits, I want to explore the surface of Sumeru more but majority of the exploration leads us into the caves.

If the rumours/leaks are true. We might more regions in the desert till 3.3
there are 2 islands in sumeru sea and one part of 'desert and forest'
is yet to come
So these 2 area are confirmed.
There's a weird tornado north of the desert and a continuation of it south of the forest. So at least 2 new areas.

I want them to improve on Mondstadt's map and add massive underground system as well. It will give me massive "hopium" for old maps if they do that.
