i mean like, if paimon can float, how did she "drown"?
You missed something: her clothes' cuffs and the part under her onesie looks like the Statue of Seven back part.
The most suspicious is the two cubes that protected the people in Jade Chamber
god kiana can also control cubes tho xD (Honkai Impact 3rd)
Also Celestia aka the start of the screen paimons clothes look like the pillars 😋
What if shes connected to the god instead
I believe there is evidence to suggest Paimon is one of the Seelie race, note the Seelie ghosts are very similar to Paimon in size, have capes and covet treasure. They once acted as guides for humanity. Ghosts of humans do not float and are human in size as evidenced in the Hu Tou story quest…. The Unknown God or Sustainer of the Heavens is, in my opinion, none other then the God of Time.
I just don't want to fight Paimon, it'll be too much for me
The two weird theories i have to myself, 1, the three rulers of Celestia is a Royal family kinda of thing, The unknown god is the mom, Paimon the daughter, And the king(?) The father, i think i’ve heard that there was a king of celestia or something. 2 paimon is a Creation by both Celestia and Khean’riah as an Alliance thingy. (Cause while exploring Dragonspine i saw the Trinity knot many times)

it doesn't make any sense, paimon didn't save us XD when mc detroyed jade chamber everyone ran away, keqing for example sat on moon carver and flew away. i wasted time watching this for sure
theory: paimon and the unknown god might be sisters.
so basically, because of the similarities, they definitely are related in some way. but, because paimon actually saved us, meanwhile the unknown god literally separated mc from they’re sibling they don’t seem to have the same personality.
maybe because the unknown goddess is the older, mature but evil sister, while paimon is the younger, helping and bubbly sister. another proof that they are related is of course their power. the cubes. all i have to say about the power is that they are using them for completely different purposes. the unknown god is using them for ‘bad’ stuff while paimon uses it extremely rarely, but for a good cause.
this is just my theory tho, i’m excited to see the true ending of the game! 💕
edit: i also just found out that paimon didn’t technically know what happened to us (in the beginning cutscene of the game) so maybe she didn’t know her sister (if the god is her sister) is evil?

7:12 That was quite unexpected. Other Proofs didn't satisfy my thoughts, but after seeing this frame. I was like, "Now, it could be true that Paimon is certainly an Unknown God or related to it". And I think it was the first Genuine proof, other proofs made no sense. Let's see in the future Genshin Impact Updates!

In paimon menu, we can use paimon to stop time (pause the game), and skip the time. I think paimon is a god of time in this game. And that paimon crown look alike with Dvalin shape.

i dont think paimon saved us in the game if i remember correctly it said that osial or the vertex god would eventually come back essentially saying it didnt die. also i think they didn’t essentially be in the explosion i think that they were protected by the adeptus buffs and they may have been teleported out of there as shown at 6:50 when they were being brought back to the dock and teleported onto the dock its self so maybe right after the main character plunged their sword they were teleported onto the adeptus and were brought back to the dock.
I think she was sleeping under the sea and maybe it could be twins gods that have power of the cube power(means unknow gods)

There might be multiple gods like the unknown god, and Paimon might be one of them. Maybe paimon used to looked different but the unknown god turned her into the paimon we know, and paimon lost lots of her power except the ability to stop time..
I think Paimon's trinity can actually mean 3 things at the same time (slight help from a Theory by Teyvat Historia)
Dainsleif, The unknown God and Paimon
Paimon, Aether and Lumine
Past, Present and Future.
So basically Paimon links these three, taking the failures of the past (Dansleif failing to save his sister, who turned into the unknown God by the power of the Genesis pearl) into the present (the two travellers) to ensure a better future
Ngl but during the explosion I saw a cubes and I really didn't think it was suspicious remember during the beginning of the fight with the unknown God lumine or aether tried to hit the unknown God with the sword with explosion but the cubes protected her from it
Unkown god = God of Space/Matter
Paimon (AKA: Emergency Food)= God of Time
3rd God= You really thought i knew the answer
What if Paimon is the Unknown God but got amnesia for some reasons and/or has also her powers locked just like the traveler, giving her a smaller size?
