  1. Navia and Clorinde becoming besties again is so wholesome

Nah but honestly the amount of good storytelling, character development, and unique things like the dnd thing and new art for it makes this definetly the best story quest thus far. I hope they put this much effort into it later too.

  2. I love the unique way the story of this quest presented itself. Also I love Navia still calling Traveler as her partner, with her stating that she only calls Traveler including Paimon as Partner.

Clorinde's childhood is also very messed up, she only got to feel normality when Callas took her in or supported her as well. No wonder she doesn't want to lose her friendship with Navia since she's the first one she ever had.

  3. people need to remember Hoyo are under a strict censorship (they had to change any mention of kiana and mei being lovers into them being "best friends"), but they manage to put a lot of subtle textual evidence for the pairing they like to write about, and to my knowledge, Clorinde and Navia are the only pair that have two canon set of weapons they used in the main story that belonged to lovers/spouses. Iron Sting and Whitebind, the weapons they respectively used in the archon quest, belonged to the lovers Skipper and the blue eyed spear Witch, while their signature weapons, Verdict and Absolution, are about Rosa and Thomson Reed of the Poisson siege story. I'm glad this story quest touched more upon Clorinde's perspective of the duel, and how it affected their relationship, it was dearly missed from the AQ. And I'm really glad the quest managed to be about her, while providing an inclusive experience for other characters, we need more story quest that has the concerned character as a more active force in the plot than total passiveness we have had by the past.

  4. I was fine with the whole quest just being a chill dnd sesh with friends all the way through. then things got real near the end and it quickly became my fav quest in the whole game period

  5. I’m so glad this was her story quest. I feel like custom art and creative stuff like this often gets relegated to temporary events. Every new player in the future will get to experience this amazing quest.

  6. This is my favourite story quest as well without question 💙💛🩵
Loved being able to properly experience an adventure with all of our besties, and that last cutscene with Navia felt like a crack in my heart has been patched. Seriously don't want to leave Fontaine in September 😭

  7. I’ll be 100% real, it’s gonna be controversial. But Clorinde’s quest wasn’t that great. I feel asleep half way through and when I woke up I just wanted it to be over. So I kept clicking X to skip the dialogue. Which has never happened before. I’m honestly shocked. Considering the first half had me interested. But oh well. Don’t hate the character. But the story quest could’ve been better. I’d rather they Focused on her role fighting in honourable duels with people who want to defend their honour. But also showing the side of her we did see from the story quest. But more so as a side thing. And not as the main focus.
