I honsstly REALLY HOPE the Web Event is AMAZING. BUT my FAITH is WANING?!? What do you think?
Dude it gets me kind of tired of it cuz i see no youtuber mention it, but the REAL problem with the art contest is that it's not for people who dont draw to say "Well the game always gets fanart so…" no, bro, some people take 10 hours or more to finish ONE PIECE. It's not like "oh its easy for artist cuz they only have to draw" NO, IT TAKES TIME AND EFFORT and participating in a contest in which the winner will be ONLY ONE and AN ASIAN for sure, it's out of 99.999999999999 of the people who play the game, it doesn't favor people playin, it doesnt favor artists, it favors mihoyo only cuz they get free beautiful art for the price of 1, cuz any artist that has some selfesteem could but their own ipad in 5 or less commissions and they're saving themselves the stress of competition, it's UNHEALTHY on the part of mihoyo, they OWE something to their people because the ingame Rewards for playing events is the minimum anybody would expect from any gacha game
They did make it clear that it's the community events, so hopefully we see more in a few days.
“Exchnage rewards”?
So what if I make a few alternate accounts and exchange all my mora for more primogems?
I can't even do the Mihoyo Lab website, I have my Gmail account logged in but when I try select the region I play in (like America, Europe, Asia) it tells me I'm not found. My character or UID is not found, the only time I was able to participate in the web event was when there was a boat traveling event and talking to Paimon, I think It was before Inazuma or something. Also the the collecting puzzle pieces when the unknown island appeared in Genshin. Where we got to find Klee mother's message, those are the only I participate……
I'm still hoping that they give us much better stuff in-game. I'm slowly getting disappointed with the game with all these comments 🙁
As a semi whale who has been playing since December I don’t really mind the rewards cuz I didn’t care about it that much to begin with.
But yes, I understand why people are upset and I can clearly see that the rewards are unfair for how big mihoyo has become.
Just keep in mind that the game is “technically” free.
Idk I feel like they don’t owe us anything.. yes we’ve supported them and all that stuff but the main supporters aka big whale already have everything and I don’t see why they would benefit by a free standard five star as many have recommended for potential rewards.

Mihoyo earns so much money at this point and knows that they will still mantain a strong profit even if they anger their fanbase that they absolutely gives a flying bullc–p about the community response anyways, they feel entitled to give us crap rewards and still be the monstrous game they are.
And lets face it, most of us while feeling pissed will still play the game kek.

If they are counting the 10 free twisted fates as the anniversary too and say that that is a "lot to giveaway" that is crap.
Keep in mind if Mihoyo gave 1% of their NET PROFITS for the last year and just gave it to each player, each player would receive only 0.5$USD worth of stuff, but 1% of their net profits is 4.4 million dollars divided amongst the approximate 21 million genshin players, so that is probably all they are valuing the community and player base at. They see us worth only 1% of their money and time… 1%… that is crap. They made, Net income, 440million RMB, amongst 21 million players? Give a free 5 star and a handful of pulls… that is worth it… it costs them nothing. And before people comment "its money you would have spent to get that character they are losing."
No, they lose nothing, they already made it, they made 440 million. If this was the starting rewards, ya that is potential money spent, but they already made 440 million. Also the day 1 rewards were better than the 1 year anniversary!
Too greedy. They made lots of money in the first year but they sure as hell are going to burn their bridges and make minimal income over the next 5 years. Companies KNOW if they put effort in they make more money over time but they are too greedy to care and want less total money but faster
So I'm a pretty heavy spender in this game and the way that they have handled the anniversary in the community was kind of like my moment of clarity. I am about 10 wishes away from a guaranteed Kokomi and realize that it's not worth it and have started to question all spending and supporting of the company in general now. I think this is going to become a pretty common thing for them and the anniversary is going to either change the way they handle a lot of things with this game or it's going to start spiraling down.
