This is the fun about shipping in ongoing stories. Plot twists happen and it always ends with the a part of the fandom in shambles.
Quick PSA: Don't harass anyone over ships. A lot of people were weirdly against Kazuscara in the earlier days, like, really weirdly against it. They're funny little pixels that we like to imagine have deep relationships and stuff. It's for fun, Mihoyo isn't gonna break down your door if you write something non-canon, you don't need to police anyone over it either.

Another repair that I adore is Chiluc- there is loads of lore behind that too! Diluc’s connections with the fatui, the one ‘watching’ him during his training, the whole ‘fire and water’ mentioned by the NPCa . Kazuscara is adorable and I love it so muchhhhhhh!

I have two different AUs where I ship kazugorou and kazuscara
I am proud to say that I kept up with the lore
Honestly, KazuScara is my least favourite (legal) ship in the game. I just don’t see the chemistry, and think they would get on each other’s nerves. Besides, their lore connection boils down to “Scara caused the downfall of Kazuha’s family” and imo that’s a pretty bad foundation for a relationship.

Gorou and Heizhou do not exist. They're illusions.
Jokes aside, their stories can align somewhat. In my headcanon, since both lost their homeland Inazuma to a dictator/horrible mom, they could bond over that the most. Not to mention how Scaramouche feels really guilty of what happened to Kazuha's ancestor's death. Since the timeloop didn't change anything, Scara can try to make things right with the Kaedahara clan now. It can even develop a bit further into Nahida being glad that her adopted son has a friend that can 100% understand him, share similar experience, to even when Scara battles his conflict with Raiden. It can even be different approaches such as Kazuha was more willing to forgive Raiden and Scara is just hell no imma kill this bij etc. Maybe Kazuha can help him with that too. After that they can even continue their journey together as Dottore was responsible for their horrible past. I just think that the dynamic of an emo boy who's always angry and a chill boy who's there to put out the fire is just really cute.
