Before people go “Reee its not a clone”, I ask this. Why would you not want to clone/copy/emulate one of the most successful video games in history?

Its a clone.

  1. They need to improve on their marketing and also release it globally like genshin did.
Why pgr isn't as big as it could've been it because Kuros marketing sucks and they released in CN first and then to other regions.

  2. I honestly hope KuroGames is going to stick loyal to the PGR fanbase and not cater towards casual scrubs!
PGR's combat is fantastic and do I hope WW will have the same depth and difficulty, even if that means it'll have a much smaller fanbase.

  3. I'll try it for sure

sometimes I think that a lot of companies thought about dipping their toes into open world + gacha but no one did until mihoyo (now hyv) actually did it so now, it's a fact that every open world + gacha would be considered "genshin clone"

this is just my headcanon though, so don't quote me on this lol

  4. I hope the game will be succes, we need somebody to change MihoYo's way of treating their game, its been almost 2 years and game still sucks, Sumeru will not save it, but WW might 🙂

  5. It looks interesting, but I am swearing off gacha. I have no self control and no money HAHAHA. Currently doing Itto's story quest. I love how Genshin has two types of puzzle…first, there is the type that, even when you look up the solution onlline, you still go 'huh???' Then there are the ones with a chasm too wide to jump, an unreachable bridge suspended in mid-air, and a mysterious lever clearly labeled 'Pull'.

  6. Honestly if it wasn't for the timing of genshins release I don't think it would be nearly as successful as it is. Although WW might not be more successful, I feel like it's going to be a better game overall. But if they do it right, I think they can be way more successful than people think.

  7. Idk this doesnt tell so much. Just that it has a dark tone, a few npcs and a golem. And i know theres more gameplay, but its looks really compromised, or is that just me? I never played Pgr either.

  8. I have so many high hopes for this game!
I play PGR and it is amazingly well done. The earlier chapters there can be slow to pick up, but once Kuro starts showing their creativity it's amazing!!
In terms of Gacha it has always been the relatively nicer friend towards F2P, with generous gacha rates and low pity for a guaranteed as well as giving you tons of resources to summon! They also alternate between needing 10 summons for a guaranteed or 60 summons each patch (ie. some characters can be summononed with only 10 pulls so you have the rest of the patch to save for next patch when the released character will be 60 summons for a guaranteed)
I do hope that WW has better marketing, that they keep being as generous as they have been in PGR, and hope they won't hold back being so creative with interesting world building, combat and music.

  9. I dont mind if the game doesnt beat genshin in ratings. As long as its more fun to play, has better content and rewards, I will gladly ditch genshin for this
