I am enjoying your comment on the event so far 😂😂😂 but personally I like it as 80% is shit but once in a while I got some really nice photo that connect with me and make me smile a Lil. Example zhongli in liyue peaceful village, and jean in front of the big tree 😅 I don't know just make me smile knowing the lore and stuff haha

Then why does this event have so much annoying steps? Make a particular pose, equip a certain character, a specific element, a specific time of day….
Seriously. Pick a lane mihoyo. Either make the event completely casual and done with a click of a button or make it challenging content.
This weird in between where genshin has tried to implement mechanics in a photo event is simply annoying.

I think it's quite relaxing and it gives you a reason to go back to nostalgic places and kinda enjoy the view for a bit.
It's not the worst event, but certainly not the best. Would be nice if there was a photo album at least, so we can see all the shots we took for the event. Now, doing something like this with combat involved could be cool though. Like, you have to take a screenshot of killing a Lawachurl with a vaporize reaction, with a specific background in the picture, and one of the characters have to come from a specific region. Trying to angle the camera to get that perfect shot, under the right conditions, with the right elemental reaction being the finishing blow – could be fun.

For someone who's played this game since almost the beginning, this event is a pleasant solititude; a chance to revisit places that I've not been to since some of those areas were current content.
Plus, it's a good relaxed break from the Chasm, which is absolutely gorgeous but like a fine wine needs to be savored slowly. Genshin Impact has some seriously breathtaking scenery; probably one of the best fantasy world settings that I've ever experienced. Plus the level of detailing that the developers have put into almost every area is just astounding.
I feel there's a huge split in opinion btw Content Creators and casual players that make up the bulk of Genshin's player base
There's no right or wrong on both side. This event has proven hugely enjoyable for me and my friends. Forcefully slowing us down to realise how beautiful the landscapes are, the character's poses , amazing OST, while finding ourselves retrying just to get better photos even tho we ady got the reward
Also i find a sore lacking of Genshin-lore based content creator in the english speaking sphere. I had to turn to bili2 for all the questions i have about Genshin's lore but i wish there's more English perspective to this

As a slice of life enjoyer these types of events are right up my alley. It's the combat focused events that I dislike because I don't play Genshin because of the combat. But hey different people enjoy different things so I ain't gonna be mad.

I hate these types of events, but its for the casuals. If they actually added end game I'd be fine with it, but only having this shit really annoys me. Whats worse is, I want Yelan and so i have to do these dumbass events to get her or i swipe.

I haven’t watch the video and I don’t think I will, but I’m not even surprised by the thumbnail and comments.
Like yeah, it’s filler event released during The Chasm and before the big Inazuma event but people still enjoy taking in game pictures.

I hate the last bit of this event as you need to go to the chasm but I'm not doing the chasm until I get Kazuha so I just get forced again to explore maps. I already hated it when they did this with enkanomiya forcing you to explore it then unlock the event
the rewards are quick and easy so I don't mind

btw I don't thin the game can't have casual events, and more end game. Those events aren't the problem imo, the problem is that end game is lacking there is no reason why the game can't carter to casuals, and ppl that want some more difficult content, Mihyo have enough money to have separate teams working on end game, and on casual stuff.

Meanwhile I tried getting the prettiest pictures, then saved them, and now I keep them in a folder for memories for when it's gone
As someone who has Ganyu, my only advice is that you shouldn't pull based on hype or "meta". Even though she's powerful, I find her playstyle to be incredibly boring. Also, as someone who plays on both pc and mobile (i like playing on my phone when im commuting to work. Sue me), aiming her charged shot on mobile SUCKS…. it's a shitty feeling. And yes, I've turned down the sensitivity so it "feels" like the mouse sensitivity. It STILL sucks. Why? Because when your thumb is your only option for every single command in the game, switching to dodge an incoming attack while you're charging the bow just plain sucks. And don't give me that shit about gettin gud… I'm a boomer, and sometimes when I'm back at my hometown, I don't have access to my PC, and I would like to complete the abyss each cycle.
Guess what. I can beat the abyss 36 stars on my PHONE with Ayaka. I can't do it with Ganyu.
