There Are No Extra Genshin Impact Anniversary Rewards…

Genshin Impact is about to have it’s 1 year anniversary, but in all honestly the Genshin Impact anniversary rewards and events kinda suck… And it doesn’t look like we are getting anything else… This is some instense Genshin Copium. For some reason there always seems to be Genshin Impact Drama and drama with Mihoyo. It only makes sense that there is anniversary drama too… I really hope that Mihoyo listens to feedback on this and gives better rewards and gifts in the future cause the 2021 rewards feels like a bad joke.
I’m honestly still shocked…

  1. I think that mihoyo made this decision rashly because they were focused on other things but that somehow made my expectations fade 10 fates and a small event isn’t much for such a big event

  2. Feel like they're starting to be like WOW? They'll "listen" to us after a year then say "oh we've changed and we're going to listen to you please come back", then repeat the same effing cycle all over again…. Of course I'm hoping that this won't be true.

  3. As a player who's been playing almost every day since venti's rerun, I was utterly disappointed about the rewards. Everyone should be given something atleast. Not just the people who participated in the community events. And it's not like the people who participated in the community events actually have a solid chance in getting something, it's just a percentage. I'm disappointed that this is what they're giving us, when they literally are a million dollar company. It just seems unfair this is what we're getting when we literally helped them get this far. Not to sound rude or arrogant in any way, but without us, Genshin wouldn't have gotten here. We supported the game with all we could and us getting this just feels upsetting. Some people may disagree but this is my opinion and I hope that this game lasts long enough so that they can redeem themselves in the next anniversary.

  4. The moonchase festival is cool and all. I appreciate the screentime they gave to keqing. And the story in general is great. It's basically 1.6 you could say. A lot of characters that we love being shown to the players. That said tho, this is an anniversary. And the moonchase festival is just not enough.

  5. So your joining the bad side? No thats un-acceptable, I am defending mihoyo. The rewards are disappointing we all know, bit REVIEW BOMBING GENSHIN?! That is just messed up, I am quite scared if they reached 1 star and their game would be deleted.. pls this game has been my comfort game AND THEY ARE TARGETING THE HONKAI IMPACT 3RD..

  6. It's also the fact that they could have given us SO much more. They recently payed for custom hashtags on twitter. Around TEN MILLION DOLLARS WORTH OF TWITTER AND DISCORD HASHTAGS WERE PAYED FOR AT THE SAME TIME AS THE ANNIVERSARY. There's at least one hashtag per character that doesn't even mention their name. Also the reason that players are review bomming is because mihoyo is censoring posts or comments mentioning how horrible the anniversary rewards are or how they can spend over ten million on hashtags but not even a guaranteed 5 star in their own game

  7. I can feel the downtrend momentum starting to be build. Mihoyo got to act promptly and avoid using ban-hammer on negative posts and comments as they might be a sign of loyal customers letting out the negative energy from playing the game. The energy gotta go somewhere.

  8. "..they pissed off a lot of their players.. "

nope, I think ".. they pissed the most of their players.." just look at how their rate at play store goes down that fast, the riot at discord, Reddit, Twitter and at Hoyolab. It's chaos everywhere.

  9. Here's me hoping that there was an employee who had an alternative anniversary reward idea they tried pitching at one of their design meetings who got shot down by an executive whose lost touch with the fan base. The smug look they have going into the analysis meeting after anniversary as they get to go through it all when the executive doesn't understand why the Anniversary events didn't have the outcome intended.

  10. You all are so ridiculous. A single look at MiHoYo's predatory business concept (how their gacha works) should tell you not to expect them to give out rewards you'd call fair just because you want them to. Look at their game. If you play it, what little they give is what you get. You happily roll your gacha but then you don't get more free gacha tickets cause it's just a casino and suddenly you get angry lol wake up

  11. If your parent/guardian raised you to eat their shit (literally) instead of eating anything else from the time you were born, telling you "you should be grateful that you got anything to at all" would you be okay with that? Of course you'd be okay with that because you were raised to have that mentality, and you'll think that this life is completely normal. But those that know better will know that's not okay

  12. I was already disgusted by the lack of effort and appreciation towards the players for this anniversary but I'm even more disgusted at how they are staying silent, deleting review bomb reviews and silencing players across social media rather than address the issue. I've spent a fair amount of money on this game but always defended what I spent because of the huge amount of time I've enjoyed it but unless this is resolved, I won't be spending another penny on this game if this is how we are treated.

  13. Welp, I was actually interested in getting back into Genshin after trying it for a short bit when it first dropped (it was way too laggy and buggy to work on my day 1 ps4 so I had to drop), but if this is how they treat anniversaries then no thank you. Even the games I do play where ppl are annoyed and pissed at the devs for being greedy have WAAAAAAAY better rewards than this

  14. You know, not to take miHoYo's side in all this but it is kinda hard to be in touch with a community that takes advantage of a friendly staff to troll them and get a few laughs and giggles out of it.
How about you people remember how you liked to troll miHoYo's customer service where you asked them if you could sell your kidneys to get in-game Valks? The trolling was so bad that at one point they cut off their FaceBook chat entirely because of it.
So, yes, I blame some of the community for miHoYo's decision to play pretend to be deaf.
