But it always dishes out bangers" For me, music in video games are bangers most whether be gacha or not, for Genshin's the music is some sort of communication and telling a story by a simple melody, they go all on that. Heck even a port, A freaking PORT they all go out.
I think its safe to say that most games can deliver epic bangers, some are even better than Genshin's. But I doubt that the music composer of Genshin (Yun Peng Chen) would bring a piece that cannot fit to the listener's satisfaction.
Anyways, nothing is perfect. Every piece of music has its own, and a smart musician will dedicate their job to music, not popularity. Evidently, Yun peng chen is a prime example, even if it is a gacha game.
Genshin's music is an absolute banger list. It definitely doesn't have the best of music but it's the consistency of bangers that makes it imo one of the top.
