This was so much fun watching it live and can now listen to it again from the video. I do agree w/ you that in all honesty that Mavuika wont die and Capitano will more likely take her place cause of being like Ororon as a vessel for souls. Plus i also feel like the archons are needed for endgame when weāll need them together as well.

My work day just got so much better
I'm excited about traveller's ancient name and what his night soul abilities will be. Mualani's night soul has abilities related to the koholasaurs, Xilonen and Kachina have teptlisaur abilities, Kinich has kukusaur abilities. Ororon obviously has abilities related to the saurian of the night wind and Chasca has qucusaur abilities. If I had to guess Mavuika may have phoenix related abilities for exploration and combat. It would be cool if the traveller has some sort of dragon outfit during night soul

in other languages, at least in JP, the localization made their chanting voice line text having ććto highlight their ancient name. Unfortunately, EN translation doesn't do that for additional flavor like other languages did for some unknown reason. it should look like this in EN

Im wondering who or what will appear when the traveller activates their ancient name. We see Tupac and other ancient heroes appear in spirit form. We are having an exclusive name so a hero of the past wont appear before us.

(i rambled for quite a bit, so sorry for speaking over anyone… the excitement really got to me!)

34:11 There's a hypothesis from a Chinese science-fiction author, Liu Cixin, called the Dark Forest Hypothesis and I have a feeling the writers could have referenced it. Ever since 4.2, a headcanon of mine is that Genshin will play out sorta like Gurren Lagann or Endwalker where a being (Lord Genome/Zodiark/Phanes) decided to control or limit Humanity and its potential thinking that this is all to "protect them" from the doom that lies beyond (Anti-Spiral/Endsinger/whatever's beyond the firmament). I wouldn't put it past Hoyo's otaku ass š

I have a question about the traveler's ancient name. Once we get the Ancient Name, does this mean we get recorded on Teyvat? Will this have some impact on the Irminsul?

About Paimon lore, I have a feeling our separation to help Mavuika might be a opportunity because Paimon will get a lot of anxiety with this, specially considering the possibility of the Traveler dying (even if we have a Ancient Name at that point). So I keep thinking that when we come back to Natlan to reunite with Paimon, I imagine people all worried, rushing to see the Traveler and kinda be like "There's something wrong with Paimon" or something, and she unlocks some hidden power because of her anxiety being too much, and we get some lore crumbs from it, even a scared Paimon not understanding what's going on since she seems very unknowing about herself despite her susmon moments.
After all, going with Mavuika would certainly take some time, more than any Paimon and Traveler separation we had before, so that's my theory. Hope it doesn't actually happen because I love Paimon and I get sad when she gets sad šš

I donāt know if Iāve been living under a rock and have missed if youāve already done it but it would be really interesting if you had specific lore videos about different regions or characters and itās just a full summary of their character background or what region went through what 500 years ago. Mondstadt wasn't a chapter of the archon quest, it was just the prologue, so i definitely agree with Arnold when he says that we will go back to Mondstadt because and a whole chapter dedicated to it in the future
"I dont want the anime to be following the events of the game"
Welp better prepare to be disappointed because that is most likely what will happen. Game-to-anime adaptations almost always follow the game's storyline in order to bring in MORE people to the game or allow non-gamers to experience the story without having to experience the game. For people who already play Genshin, the anime is more like a treat.
If they do do this route, I only hope Lumine's the Traveler this time and Aether's the Abyss Sibling because Aether is already the Traveler in the game's official media. It would be nice to have Lumine be the Traveler to balance it out.

I wonder if the "Childrean of Murata" is going to be addressed in the final Act of the Natlan's Archon story. That is the Pyro tribe missing in Natlan. It is the only tribe that left Natlan.
