TCG isn't terrible, but it's not great either. Also, without a good tournament system and without primo rewards, it feels very pointless. As a former hearthstone player, I have to say that a lot of the TCG card design is quite trashy as well. But its free so, that's good.
I like you video because you are always telling the truth. The thing about genshin is I think the "product is in a cash cow stage" where developer will not channel anymore resources into the game otherwise it will has a diminishing return outcome. So they basically will do the least and just start milking the franchise until its life cycle ends. For them to add endgame is not profitable because they have to give out more rewards to players. So I dont expect anything out of ordinary to come out from this game anymore and TBH this game to me looks like a prehistoric game in the current gacha game scene. Other gacha games are excelling in every aspect compared to genshin. Just that genshin is the pioneer that fuelled the gacha scene so it will no go away anytime soon and also because most players/CCs have invested alot of money and time into genshin that its riskier for them to start another gacha game. On the bright side, WuWa is receiving alot of hype and in CN alone there are already over 10mil preregistration players. Just hope it will set the tone as the new standard for gacha game moving forward with better pity system and rewards. I am definitely playing WuWa for sure as there is nothing to do in genshin after 100% exploration and abyss cleared. For now I am just saving my primos for Neuvillette rerun, Arlechinno, Pyro and Cryo Archons just for collection purpose because there is not endgame contents that let you flex your 5 star characters power. This game is boring once you explored everything in the map and the map is pretty small tbh.
They shouldve made Chiori able to group enemies (that was a fake leak) OR make her scissors or whatever "cut" elemental shields, so she'd fix issues of full geo teams.
Weapon banner has 75% to get either, or 37.5% for the specific weapon.
I only wish when both are good for me. Having a 50/50 to get actual garbage, instead of 25% (when both are good) is worse. And the pity being 10 higher. Oof
The Chronicled wish is for characters that did not sell well, so people can still get them (and be baited out of their limited wishes) and they don't have to lose sales on re-running an unpopular character. skip. Also GEO = auto SKIP change my mind.
Genshin Devs: "Okay boss, this is the update for the next patch that players didn't ask for: TCG and Serenity Pot update, Mid Geo-Char, a bait banner and a bunch of boring mini-games". Genshin Boss: "Perfect, throw in a useless newbie guide and we are good to go.”
i see this a lot. people underestimate the character guide thingy, and think it will not be that useful, and it probably isnt from them, but end up forgetting that the majority of the player base are casuals and it will help them get closer to the level of the "hardcore" players. maybe mhy will add harder content when that happens.
New banner is making Genshin gacha system significantly more costly and problematic. A shame you didn't look more into it. Unfortunately I see that in general people don't realize what negative influence it will have in the long run and considering it as a whole system. Well, I guess people will have to feel for themselves, for example, that 180 wishes needed on the new banner will feel waaay more costly, when your investment – pity / guarantee on the limited banner is frozen…

Genshin devs dont care about player feedback, new banner and they take the pitty away when it resets?? No love for their players, clearly, as if the game isnt a pain in the ass enough to farm primos, i uninstalled the game, and these patches nothing they show makes me want to reinstall it

I agree with this, even though TCG offers primo I haven't played it since the quest to unlock it.

I have no idea why, but when Chiori showed up in the story I did not once get the sense that she would be a playable character.
I only wish the new type of banner used blue fates instead of pink ones.
