  1. You might want to look up the norns and their role in nirse mythology. They are literally three women – three moon sisters even? – weaving fate at the roots of the world tree.
The exact same world tree from which a one-eyed idol once hanged himself upside down to gaze into the abbyss and learn runes as well as secrets of the world. As described also on the quest item we get after defeating robo-scaramouche.

  2. What if Lumine is a being that was always a part of this world as stated my nahida and that the traveller that is not of this world is just a tool that was created to reweave fate like a tool that was created and manipulated to think it has free will to do what ever it wants and in this case. The traveller has been given memories of him living a whole lifetimes worth of exploring worlds with his sister which is giving him a sense of attachment and motivation to actually look for the sister in the world of teyvat but that is only what he has been manipulated to think and is just being used to change and reweave the fate of the world as the supposed sister of Aether is a anomally to the world of teyvat that has far advanced that of the Teyvats rules and "fate" which is why Aether a force out of this world has been brought to "observe " with the current situation of teyvat and handle the situation through his notion of saving his sister but is actually getting rid of the anomally of the world teyvat… Ofcourse paimon is being there is to make sure that it all plays out according to plan and so that the traveller doesn't also become an otherworldy anomally that has come to affect teyvat bahaha.

Idk where i got this from, I just pulled it out of my ass baahahaha. 🙂

    plz don't judge me hehe… 🙂

  3. They could be lying to us that they are not brother and sister. Our character questioned their memories. Could be making us trip but they actually still will be. But perhaps they are read as not related because ghey got seperated by 500 years.
Maybe paimon is the sister or the principle lady xD
Maybe she fell into the abyss hands and they brainwashed her with a truth. She does use some portal to get away maybe she goes into some place that disconnects the recording? If at first she was recorded then she wasn't they must have done smth to disconnect her.

  4. I feel the Lumine, through watching Khaenri'ah fall, somehow became intertwined with the fallen princess we see in the battle pass. Maybe somehow she ended up getting those memories and being controlled by the dark entity in the battle pass, and that is why her fate is sealed in Teyvat. She was connected to the fallen royalty somehow and now is going about their journey in the Abyss.

The people of Khaenri'ah have stars and date connected to them, as seen in the people's eyes, clothing, etc, so perhaps they had ties to Celestia in some way. It would make sense. Stars are always shown to be connected to Celestia, so perhaps Khaenri'ah started off as a city connected to the heavens. With this, that means Celestia could have betrayed Khaenri'ah due to the technology getting too strong, and so the people of the Abyss, and in turn who the sibling is connected to, wants revenge.

Lumine could be being guided by the emotions of the fallen princess in the battle pass to get revenge for the betrayal of Celestia.

  5. I have another take on this. What if lumine's status is indeed "to be" a part of teyvat, or rather "was always" a part of teyvat, it's just that we don't know it yet. What if, the one who altered lumine's destiny is aether himself, but not yet. What if, lumine's destiny was set long in the future, at the end of aether's journey, but somehow it connected to the past, just like how ei planted the sacred sakura in the future but somehow it bloomed in the past. That could explain why the traveler didn't know what the sustainer of heavenly principle was referring to as the "arrogation" at the start of the game.

  6. The more I hear theories such as this when it comes to genshin the more I think to myself how genshin is a perfect example of “ putting too much lore into a game”

The idea that the traveler has some kind of fate manipulation ability alongside the things mentioned in the video honestly make for a more convoluted in game story where the traveler should know certain things about characters but for some reason don’t when shown in the story.

Such as the traveler and paimon who should know by now that fischl name is Amy but for some reason this is new information as of the gold apple rerun.

Combined with the fact that events take place in practically their own timeline in conjunction to the main story it makes things like this even more nonsensical because it’s something that they could easily have the traveler know or have certain interactions play out differently but they’re simply hard reset for the sake of assuming that characters and players don’t know this information despite it being rather inconsequential.

Personally I don’t really see a point in the wishing system needing a lore reason to explain how it works especially given the idea their going for. It’s fine if they have a companion character traveling with the traveler or simply just saying you call these people in to help you and leave it at these characters doing things on their off time or even just not explaining it all.

For games like Arknights, Fgo, and blue archive for example this makes a bit more sense for them to have an in lore reason given that these people are always at the ready for combat lore wise because you summon them literally in the case of fgo or their affiliates who work with the player and are here due to contractual obligations such as Arknights and blue archive since they have that extra leg room of showing the player new things about themselves by either spending time away from the players in game vessel or at least showing an already established relationship that doesn’t feel too rehashed with information the player would know and instead build off that information.

That isn’t to say that the idea can’t be done it’s just that the way genshin handles it just makes things more complicated since this power never comes into effect in game or if it would come into effect it’s never something that’s touched upon

  7. Lumine sacrificed her identity as outlander and merged with the abyss to save both twins from the unknown god.
Doing so she became one with irminsul's roots (part of teyvat), gained the power of darkness, her sword is tainted purple/black, this action may even have stripped Aether from it's power, but kept him free and pure.
This way he can still use light element in the end, and free both twins from teyvat and lumine from darkness.
Aether also remains pure enough to cure corruption inside teyvat, dvalin tear goes red to blue, teleporters and so on.
Unknow god's powers are red and need a good purification, maybe in 3/4 years with all elements and our sword back.

    Ty for reading
    Have fun in genshin!

  8. Hmm… I always need small push to start putting pieces together
Ever since "Sun and Moon" I had casual theory of Travelers originally being from Teyvat but didn't recognise because too much time passed (think Interstellar)
Now this idea seems weirly in place since
    They left for whatever reason
They got removed from fate, why bother with some escapees
    They returned
Abyss sibling found out, putting themselfs back into fate + reason why they want to fight for Khaenri'ah now and not 500 years ago

  9. I def think they should tell us what happened in the past regarding our sibling. I don’t think it would real lol y affect the main story or game at all seeing as we are trying to find her and get out of here/ find truth of this world like she told us to. I’d like to know where she was sent to from the sustainer. How long she was awake before we both went to sustainer. So much we don’t know.

  10. To be honest, i feel like a sackboy arrived in this world and on my quest to reunite my sister after travelling to different destinations like mondstadt, liyue, inazuma and sumeru and our next stop and wanted to defeat fatui and unknown god as final showdown

  11. Irimisul is a computer, give this little statement some thought aster, someone erased from irimisul erases them from teyvats history, just like removing a mod from a game servers files and thuis being unabled to be accessed by any saved ame file that calls upon that file
