  1. When it comes to the flexibility of teams. Raiden does it for me. The other 4 on this list really need to be put in their dedicated teams (I have all the characters on this list.). Except Xiao (though I have Wonderer and both have the same issues when it comes to team investment). C6 Faruzan one day.

    My Honourable mentions go too
    1. Ganyu (her kit is super versatile). Yes she might be a little bit behind in pure damage than Ayaka but her versatility more than makes up for it I've had her in
    – Melt
    – Freeze
    – Fridge
    – Mono
    – Raiden National (when I need Cryo)
    2. Ayato (another really versatile character). Same here when compared to Childe, might not have as high a ceiling but can be comfortably slotted into many more teams (I've actually been having heaps of fun in the mono hydro archetype with him at the moment) but also had him in
    – Nilou Bloom
    – Hyper Bloom
    – Vape
    – Freeze
    – Mono (Kokomi, Ayato, XQ and Yelan). A super fun boss killer.

  2. I REALLY wish that Ayato got more love and attention because he is a great on-fielder with solid off-field dmg. I feel everyone kinda throws him under the rug because Childe exists but I feel like they’re distinct enough from each other . I’m not saying he’s better than him but I feel like he’s so underrated.

  4. You are such a clown. The video title says main dps. Then u say the best dps, xiangling would be a dps but not a main dps. You dont even know what a main dps is bruh. Main dps are the main sorce of damage meaning they do most of the damage in the team (about 50% or more) also known as hypercarries while characters like childe or alhaithem are on field drivers but they dont do most of the teams damage since they are just used to apply the element. You actually made a video about the best on field characters. Ps where is ganyu? She really should have been in this video at least as an honorable mention since she is just as good as ayaka but more difficult to play

  5. I have both yoimiya and hutao with their respective canon weapon, it feels like they both deal similar damage. Considering yoimiya hit much faster than hutao, I will say she maybe better than hutao.

  6. i am just very puzzles with your tier list, if it is biased i dont mind then, but what i wanted to point out was there are better characters in genshin who do a lot more damage per rotation than than the ones you have mentioned here. my point being, where are the hypercarries who are literally built to do damage. scaramouche, cyno and itto all do more damage per rotation than childe reverse vape and hu tao double vape team raiden hyperbloom or national any day. scara has a gacha weapon for his best in slot other than his sig i agree to that, but itto and cyno are just cracked because they even have good craftables. in my opinion the tier list should be centred more around damage since you are making one for top 5 main DPS, and it should be:-

1)alhaitham(broken character, affordable team, umbrella good option and need literally no five stars, 1 dmc, kuki and xingqui and this team will clear the abyss easily)
    2) cyno (cause you only need nahida and xingqui to make him go crazy, everything in his team is very affordable, kitan cross spear, 1 kuki shinobu. thats it no constellation on any characters and this team will clear your abyss, the only reason he is second is because alhaitham with same investment is a little better than cyno + aoe)
    3) ayaka (she is the only one i can think of in terms of damage in 3rd place, she gets 3rd cause her team is expensive so her f2p is here)
    4) itto(absolutely a beast, whiteblind f2p craftable albedo and bennet and gorou, even though this team is a little expensive its still good enough to kill abything in genshin rn since geo can overpower any element except geo itself)
5)wanderer(another expensive 5 star main dps but is still goat if built correctly, no craftable for him, only the widst set. even with c0 faruzan, and bennet and layla, he can do more damage than raiden any day )

now for those who invest into their teams with gacha(a sig weapon and maybe c1 ob main dps):-
    1) wanderer(c1 wanderer, c6 faruzan, c5 bennet(5 star weapon), c5 layla)
    2)cyno(c1 cyno, c0 nahida, c4 xingqu, c0 baizhu or c4 kuki)
    3)alhaitham (c1 alhaitham, c0 nahida, c4 xingqu, c4 kuki)
    4)ayaka (c1 ayaka, kazuha c0, shenhe c0, kokomi c0)
    5)itto(c1 itto, c6 gorou, c0 albedo and c5 bennett(5 star weapon))

  7. My personal preference for on-field carries for who I value pulling are ones who offer flexibility with their potential team comps.

For example, Childe International is straight up a top 3 team comp in the game, but Childe also kind of falls of outside of that team. Taser and Dendro are both doable but at that point, Ayato actually covers that ground better. So, for me when it comes to which of the two I'd want to pull for, I find myself leaning Ayato.

Raiden is similarly one of the most versatile carries in the game. And Alhaitham, although he's geared to Quickbloom and Spread, can pretty effectively drive most Dendro comps as well.

  8. Yep, this is what bothered me from the beginning of the game: there are too many DPS characters, to the point you can substitute other one if you don't like someone. And there are much less support characters, to the point where your teams have different DPS characters, but share the same support units.

  9. Cyno was on my first team that actually worked well, i didnt really know what i was doing
Cyno, Dendro MC, and Xinqiu and a flex,
Cyno burst just lasts too long and the support skills fall off during single player

  10. Childe is very good in freeze and vape even in some monohydro teams.
But he still isn't the top 5, niether is alhaitham top 5
Nor is Ayaka, to qualify has top 5 the build should be easy and versatile, dps should be good.
And those that do qualify as that are
    1. Yelan
    2. Miko
    3. Raiden
    4. Nahida
    5. Lyney
Hu tao is great but the hp maintainence doesn't make her easy to play.

  11. My top 5 are: 1childe on my soup team(childe, fischl, kazuha, bennet)
    2 Ganyu on melts
3 Ayato also on soup teams but with yae
    4 Alhaitham
5 yae on her agravate team that you mentioned( yae, fischl, kaxuha and baizhu) that team with her as an on fielder actually feels so fun to play

  12. Still prefer ayaya's brother, he is really flexible, can be hypercarry, driver or rarely but still can be a off field hydro applicator. His interruption res is high and rotations easier than Childs, rly comfortable to play with
    P. S. He is also easy to build in case of artifacts 4 piece gladiator is not far enough from his signature set and most high lvl acc have good glads

  13. Honestly as someone who has all of them, i am shocked that you werent based over even a single one of them
You actually considered childe's own personal dmg unlike others just completely ignoring his huge burst digits, also love how instead of overrating c0 raiden you were honest enough about how high investment she needs to be meta

  14. my fave character used to be Raiden, and she still is, but the one that took that spot when she first came out was Yelan. absolutely love playing her, and she fits in literally in almost any team comp. but, i have a few characters in my sight rn that i really hope have an amazing kit and fit in so many team comps (Navia, Clorinde, Arlecchino and Cloud Retainer)

  15. It entirely depends on what you're looking for.
Are you looking at floor level? The DPS that can consolidate a good level of damage even with F2P and is easy to use for beginner in Abyss?
Are you looking at ceiling? The DPS that can one rotate a single room or continuously through every single room across many abyss iteration?
Are you looking at future profness? The DPS that survive the test of times accross the majority of the abyss settings and who keeps getting better as times goes on?
Are you accounting investment? DPS that can perform better at low cost but failed at higher cost and vice versa. With some still competitive at all cost?
Are you just looking for pure DPS calcs or high personal damage DPS? The ones that output a lot in sheet impact?

It really depens what you're looking out for.
Your choices isn't bad tho I'd give that but it seems a bit weird when accounting Haitham and Ayaka.
Haitham makes sense from a floor perspective but in place of Ayaka, Nilou would make more sense.
Same for ceiling where Ayaka would work but Haitham would kind of fall to Wanderer.

Floor: AlHaitham, Raiden, Nilou, Yae, Hu Tao.
Ceiling low cost: Wanderer, Childe, Hu Tao, Nilou, Ayaka/Raiden (varies, Ayaka has more counters at low cost to her freeze team but Raiden is still worse in multi wave would have put Xiao but I haven't seen any of his runs for months now).
Future profness: Childe, Hu Tao, Raiden, Yae, Alhaitham. Ayato should get a special mention too here, very consistent.
Ceiling high cost: Wanderer, Raiden, Ayaka, Ganyu, Tighnari (If Yelan allowed put her instead of Nari).
Sheet DPS using KQM standard: Hu Tao, Alhaitham, Yae, Yoimiya (only ST tho), Nilou (Primary target).

Lyney needs more data before placement in the future but his sheet dps seems to revolve around the 60k for every calcs so not bad.
Neuv and Wrio will be interesting to see if they can check things up. Don't have much hope for either until more options tho.

  16. Wanderer has to be one of the bests, not only because of how strong he is when paired with Benny and Faruzan, but also because of how comfy it actually is to play him overall. Plus, his E is so helpful both in combat and when exploring.

  17. top 3 in my opinion
    1. Hu Tao, with vape and a shield, you wont call the game hard
    2. Ayaka, with a little investment with like shenhe, he burst will literally eat up your opponents
    3. Xiao, a very strong character, with a shield. Since he is anemo, he cant deal the ideal damage like the top 2.

  18. Im so so glad i have xiao c1 with his signature weapon, faruzan at c6 with r5 favonious, bennet c6 and zhongli.
I have 2 questions regarding this
    For overall final damage,
For xiao, is the 4piece vermilion better or 4 piece marechaussee, since i want him to have near perfect crit values to deal a great amount of damage at the same time
For faruzan, should i have her on 4 piece tenacity or 4 piece golden troupe?
