I don't want new 400$ characters comming out that are weakers than free ones that came out two years ago .
I know the new units fill unique spots but the fact of the matter is that most of them do the job worse than other already existing units and that is not a good thing . Power creep is bad, but reverse power creep is far worse .

Genshin impact is so easy all you need is Xianglin,Xinqui,Bennet,Sucrose to beat the spiral abyss or be better than all the 5 stars characters. Hoyoverse really need to add stronger monsters and make these new 5 star characters stronger people will soon get tired of pulling for characters that look cute.

Valid opinion but your arguments are so wrong it makes you look like you are talking out of your ass.
I main kaeya so I'm addicted to using mid characters and putting an insane amount of investment into them just so they're barely good. I would have pulled for him if he wasn't free. However I know I'm very much in the minority in how I feel and I think that hyv needs to get a grip and make new units more accessible for people who don't want to spend all their time grinding to make a character slightly viable.

People are just expecting every new character to be the more OP of the former releases – which is simply a weird assumption. Sure, they introduce characters and mechanics that seem OP (shield, anemo cc, etc) but to expect new characters to be as strong as Hutao or Ganyu is kinda reaching. It's a business and since most are expected to already have the 4-star supports like Bennet and Xingqui, Hoyoverse is slowly creating more niche units.
The latest ones that are super valuable to me are Kazuha, Raiden and Yelan (and maybe Kokomi). Cyno has a high but fixed ceiling for damage same as Xiao since he doesnt have dedicated supports or artifact sets that can make him deal damage on his own without dendro reax.
This is just hilarious to me. I guess since I'm a F2P player so I really can't relate to high whale spenders complaints so I find the actual serious tone of this video funny.

this is literally it. Abyss doesn't need 5 stars chars to be cleared, there is no hard content in genshin. the only reason to pull for anyone is you want to play the character. but somehow you guys are still dumping money to get better stronger characters?

The only thing you literally loose by not using the Older stronger characters is a faster clear time.

I thought this video would be an argument more focused on that the new characters feel a bit more unfun to play. I would say dori looks nice but her gameplay wasn't the thing I was expecting, it was very clunky and not so fun. Candance might not be the best for "meta" but I love her gameplay.
Just saying man for me genshin just needs to keep making more characters that are just fun to play/cooler animations. I don't really give a damn if the character is slightly 20 second diff in abyss clear time.
if anything Genshin is more artifacts problem. farming artifact can take so damn long. to a point it can be not so enjoyable. that being said my account is been safe for 5 months with the same old artifacts and some new one. but I can see why some players have quit playing at all because not everyone is lucky at getting artifacts.

I don't think getting "weak" characters is a problem like literally just pull for who ever you like coz powerlevels literally don't matter in this game AT ALL.
I duo 36* with literally duo teams in abyss, Also even if you don't do 36* you're loosing like 50 primos which is insignificant.
Getting just good enough charcters right now will just make the game go longer pretty much maintaining the balance

He’s out of line, but he’s right! Unless we get some sort of Dendro Xinqiu, Yelan or Xiangling equivalent she’s way easier to pair with the Dendro characters we have now. Man, sure would be nice if they released that sort of character before Cyno. An archon would be a nice way to solve this problem.
Happened to yae, they seems to just not giving a fuck on characters that already hyped for. They can sell no matter what and then you can throw them in the dumpster, they don't care, they tricked you already. Those characters sell on the hype not because they has any value. But with character like kazuha who nobody knows who tf that is, they can't afford that, so they made him brokenly strong to keep up the sale. So that rule seems to not change at all, as long as they can keep up the sale, they can butcher the character on how they want.
Agreed with Yae even though I have invested heaps into her. One thing though is that Yae's normals hit in a corridor, so there's some aoe with that that Fischl doesn't do. Easy to get around that with Sucrose though, another cracked OG 4*.
I enjoy using miko along with tighnari bennett and xingqiu she is not as assy as you mentioned but disappointing for the hype she got
There is no reason for power-creep characters in a PvE game with its only “difficult” content being Spiral Abyss. You must accept that this is a causal game at the end of the day, not a PvP or MMO.

I have zero 4* characters build from the time Inzamua released. I knew everything was going to be bad after Thoma was released. I was so hyped up to get him from the 3.0 trailer. Liked his voice and involvement in story quest, only to come out as a disappointment.
