Black tassel also for zhongli obvs. Sapwood blade is also a 5 star sword a lot of people will R5 for their bennet, so dark iron sword has insane value freeing up billets for you for that. BTW the Liuye exclusive weapons you want to keep an eye out for are: Dark Iron sword (from a quest or smth not in chests) Halberd, White Tassel, Fillet Blade, Skyrider greatsword, Messenger, Recurve Bow and Twin Nepherite. And the other ones I didn't recognize like the white iron greatsword are mondstad exclusive!
has a 'fodder' category (f2p users really shouldn't fodder any of three stars until they have one at R5) fails to mention DIS can only be refined to R2 includes Closed Beta 2 weapons that will never appear ever (amber, quartz and ebony) BONUS: includes slingshot as top tier tho it's a bow that requires use at point blank range to be effective
yeah, this guide is trash – i've literally done better in the middle of a live stream cuz someone wanted to know why i was using an R5 fillet blade (it's a legit OP clutch boss killer) and an R5 skyrider greatsword (excellent f2p crowd control)

I used White Tassel for Rosaria for the longest time before I got her the Deathmatch. Black Tassel can also be good for shield Thoma (I think I even R5-ed it for the meme value 😂). And yeah, Skyrider Sword was my go-to for Xingqiu early game and also for Bennett sometimes because I seemed to always be lacking ER.
TTDS is the most overrated and overhyped weapon that barely works and only on characters that can inherit and snapshot the buff. And with all that, it becomes dead weight if you need to reapply VV or anything else other than switch to main DPS. And Black Tassel is BiS on Zhongli, Thoma, Chevrusse, Yao Yao and Mika. For 5 characters it's better than any 4 or 5 star weapons.
Its actually really ironic that ttds still reign supreme as the best support catalist till now. The only catalist in the game than can beat ttds is only favge imo.
As someone who built Slingshot, I can tell it's highly overrated.
For Yoimiya: It tied Yoimiya to Bennett, which is smt you don't want. Having Bennett + Xiangling and Yoimiya with Yunjin IS way better in term of opportunity cost. Therefore the ATK is too low and is outscale under this condition by Rust for sure R3, and maybe R2 already.
For Yelan: we get the Favonius Bow for free. F2P or beginners won't have C1 or even a good ER mainstat Sands and let's not talk about substats. Not realistic at all. It's good on theory, but not practical. The time you get the artifacts is probably the time you'll get a better bow.
The remaining one is Tighnari. I didn't get him early, so I can't really tell. Probably it's the bow works the most on as a pire crit rate stat stick
Amber Bead, Quarts, and Ebony Bow were beta only. Blood Tainted GS is the highest EM claymore in the game if you missed Mailed Flower. Situational. TTDS needs its own Tier. Otherworldy story could be in "early game" for the same reason as Skyrider GS NEVER FODDER LIMITED WORLD WEAPONS! AAAHHHHHH!

Sharpshooter’s Oath is a great option for Amber if you play ca Amber and it it’s even good on Ganyu too I believe it’s worthy to be in the early game option
They should hide 4 more Dark Iron swords around Liyue. That way even if your threw the original away you can still R5 it. Could make it a quest chain to collect them all.

Think hod (harbinger of dawn) is very underrated, like youre almost always running a healer nowadays so keeping up the passive is really easy. I’ve used it on alhaitham for 6 months and cleared every abyss with it, it was never a big deal. Same can be said about albedo, keqing and xingqui. Especially xq uses it too well in double hydro teams, i still use it mostly because my sac sword is r1 and lv1. And then layla and kayea can also use the sword, i just don’t see a better 4star weapon for them unless you are zajeffing with favs
Debate clube noelle healer. I used to run albedo, because he was my first 5 star with a bunch of characters, and I needed a healer, and I had a debate club. Only pulled her out to ult, skill, hold attack until fully healed and switched off.
12:05 Otherworldly Story is a good early game option for Charlotte or other catalyst that needs to provide some support from a high cost elemental burst.
You can junk it after pulling a Favonious Codex or other catalyst that helps with energy, hence early game. For the early catalysts, you are basically deciding between Otherworldly Story, Magic Guide, or Thrilling Tales.
I think a great video idea would be to go over the best uses for talents to crown, I have a bunch of unused crowns and im not too sure what to use them on.
Finally after 3 years I have that R5 White Tassel I wanted for my Hu Tao early on

Nah HoD is an actual 5* fon any non ATK scaling Sword, but end of the day, it's just Albedo, Layla and pbbly Chiori

You are quite wrong on recurve bow for yelan, it is super good for her and also heals. White tassel for zhongli and hutao too.

White Iron Greatsword is also a GREAT F2P early game option for Noelle if you just can't get Claymore billets for a Whiteblind.

Em + atk buff after electro reaction is good for swirl electro and aggravate electro dmg dealer. Got it r2 by recent area. Perhaps r5 later.
unironically I run recurve bow on Diona
I love recurve bow on yelan. Especially, the heal for overworld as you can mow through most enemies anyways
