Theres a bird here in new zealand called a pukeko, and they have very long thin legs with gigantic feet. Every time i notice the tall boys run i laugh because it reminds me of the pukeko
I think its the backend modelling for character animation. They prob hit a limit or be too lazy i think
Basically the "from knee to feet" are all the same in medium and tall characters, i assume they have a model of a medium character and to make it much taller theyjust stretch the "from above the knee to the head" of the characters and used this model of tall character in every character
